Played a few sngs today, trying out Poker Office(thanks M3turbo for telling me about it). It Didn't help me much..Maybe I have to read the tutorial or something. I think my problem is I play so tight than when I finally do raise, they just reraise with total junk and suck out..Got a bad headache right now..I'll go and watch some TV, I'll check my hand histories later on PokerOffice and look for mistakes.
BTW, I played some tournament today, was pretty fun trying to knock out the bounties. BRM should do something like that.

Hehe sure mate, it was you who showed me the site Im a pokertracker guy but now that I found pokeroffice I would give it a try. It actually suprised me alot since I allways heard bad things about it I never tried it. Now im on the edge to say it's better than pokertracker Very easy/fast to use.....GeneYuss you gotta spend some time to get familiar with it, maybe set an evening of where you only play 1 table/tourney so you can run/work with in the background. There is not alot of things you need to change but you can make it suit your exact needs with a litlle time. Like which stats you want it to show on table(table overlay) there is alot so pick the ones you think you need to make the right decisions, what icons the dif. players should get, what you define as fish/calling station and so on. How many hands before showing stats etc etc In the beginning I think you should primarily use the program to analyze your own game and when you get use to the program you can use it to make better decisions.

Thanks for the tips M3turbo. I'll try it out on 1 table right now and maybe I'll read some guides if I have any problems. I heard from someone else its a good program too

Hey Yuss,,, i tried that poker office ,,, am not that thick but i found it to be a chore setting it up ,,,,,Ive seen lots of guys bumming about it,,,,if you like it have it ,, but its for robots me thinks,,and I dont see any value in it,,,,players , well good ones vary there play and all those stats dont help ,,,,,,,,,ok ,, it gives u percentages on hands while in play but most players can do that in there head and dont need the robot,,,,,,,,,,

if u go to there site u can get it free if u open an account with a certain site,,,,,u get a free trial as well,,but thinks its only 400 hands or the like

@smds you can download trial version on their site but it can only contain 300 hands. But search for pokerbay on google and find full version in there.
@Artic not matter how much you change your game up you will still in most cases do a certain thing and only sometimes mix it up. I mean no matter how much you try to change gears or mix up your game you will still be a certain player type which I will be able to see from your stats. Besides that I can see how often you go from flop to turn, which means I will be able to see wether it's +EV to con-bet you with nada or not same goes for turn-river. Also I can see how often you check-raise so I know wether I should respect your check-raise or it's something you do alot (your kind of stealing move) how often you go all-in on different streets and so on. These are just some examples cause these programs collect endless info you just have to decide which info you want it to tell you cause if it tells everything it knows it will be overwhelming and MUCH more than a good/top pro player will ever be able to observe and remember. Maybe you are mixing it with an odds calculator which is also included but not the main purpose.
@GeneYuss if there is anything you can allways ask I'll be glad to help, but fast help is allways found on their online guide/instruction manual step by step actually well explained.....I used it

fair enough bud ,,,,it dont work for me but if it suits you and it improves yer game go for ,, but dont ya think that sometimes you can just have to much info with that program to contend with and play,,,,,

It has so much info for you that the only limitation is your self, you'll have to learn how to use that info. But like you said it can become to much info and ruin your game some people find it extremely profitable others think it ruins their gut feeling and makes them play weak. So it's probably an individual thing

Yeah,,,thats what I was getting at,,,I think,,,,,u know what i mean , we both have made calls i bet that would have the book screaming and still they win,,,,I cant argue with the fact that its a good program for its purpose,,,but its not for me ,,,,gl

I think if you can learn how to use the program than it can be useful. I like to look and see how players play and write notes on them and if I can get a program to do that for me than that'll be cool. Plus, the program will have a lot more info than I could write down.

I also take notes, sadly it's not often I run into the guys I noted.....but when I do a couple of days ago I ran into an old "friend" on PP OHARE333 within a shortwhile he gave me 4 BI's at NL50 and left table when he was down 8,5 BI. Woooot he lost over 400$ in less than an hour at NL50 Haha actually he sucked me out first hand I played with him, he is so sick. He came to a table where i was sitting.......and I was clapping my hands First hand he played he called a big raise OOP from the most tight player at table. He checked flop, reraised a pot bet-----and called an all-in. My donky friend has K-3 off and has hit his 3(buttom pair) on flop tight oponent has pocket AA but turn is 3 and my donky friend takes it home with set 3 and is celebrating it in chat Nice I thought more money 4 me First hand play with him I got AQs raise 4 BB he reraise to 12BB I come over the top with around 36-40BB I know this looks sick but it's only because it's him.....he insta shoves and I call. He has K-8off I got AQs LOL he flops a set and house on turn....DOH !!! But after that it went down hill very fast for him, he calls all in on turn with openend I got AA and he doesn't get it. He call all in on turn when I got set he has midle pair with weak kicker and so on. He is my favourite PP player

lol I see why he is your favourite player I often see people who I take notes on because I 4 table the same sng limit and usually play at the same time.
I hate it when the bad players keep raising it than when I finally play back at them they either have the goods or suck out.
