A Week Without Real Money Poker!  0
Tghis is the first week that I've had to stick to playing nothing except Freerolls due to Carbon Poker wanting copies of all my personal information after 6 months of playing.

I guess I should have been a bit smarter then what I've been. I have all credit cards in my wife's name and since the card (s) I scanned to Carbon do not have my name on them I can't make a deposit.

Of course since the start of this dilemma I've ordered a card in my name, but this takes 7 to 10 days to receive.

I'm just wanting to vent a bit so I thought I'd post my ignorance in hope of receiving some harrassment for having everything in my wife's name. it's made me think a bit! My name isn't on one of our primary savings accounts nor is it on my debit card. I must have a lot of faith in my marriage to be so neglective to these type of things. lol Blink

But freerolls are real Money poker. I thought you were playing only fun Money when i read the title of your thread. I see, you aren’t making any investment on your game due to what was asked bu Carbon. But are you thinking about giving them what they want or not? I guess that, if you don’t, it’s not worth to keep playing there, even if it’s just freerolls, because if you win something with those, you won’t be able to withdraw it because of the lack of docs.

Hi Green, I think you should play the freerolls as well as you play normals MTT's see if you can make some cash and go from there. I know it must be a pain in the A**e for you Americans what with Black Friday and all therefore you don't have the same choice as most of us.

Fair play to you also for keeping everything in your missus name - I used to do the same, but I was fed up having to reason why I needed some cash, so now we have a joint account, it works better.

GL to all you mobsters and see if you can build a bankroll from nothing. Let us know your stories of rags to riches - it would be nice to hear about them.

Maybe you should get your wife to play your poker games for you....... I keep trying to get mine to do it. But then that defeats the object of poker doesnt it...... a place away from all the sh*t in the world.

Or the secret accounts off shore. lol

My story is true as for one comment and yes Macubaas I did get the feedback from them, but never could locate a phone number.

As for the credit cards in my wife's name, to be honest, I never had any reasons to use a credit card until on-line poker and that's the truth. The properties in Arizona paid cash, the house in Washington inherited and the house here was a loan from a bank. All the cars were bought cash or on a personal loan so why use a crazy credit card.

The wife shops on-line and plays the credit card game. pay-off before interest or whatever so I can honestly say this on-line poker has been the one thing that doesn't take cash. I mean, you can't slip a 50 into your PC so I'm pucked.

I do thank all for the input and thoe funnies. At least I can read in the forum without being charged and I really enjoy it. To be honest I only found poker and BRM about 2 years ago. No matter what I've never been one to hold someone's opinion or take a harrassing joke personal. Your all great people who all have one thing in common which is a unique group of poker players. Always enjoy the game because when you don't, it's not worth playing.
