was a bit too high spent my funds studying games i dont know how to play
decided the best thing to do with pokerstars is play anything but holdem, stick to PKR or Party poker for holdem and just play other games on stars (although i doubt id stick to this) all set for a good 8 game now though

yeah i also find that holdem is the game i play least at stars, and anywhere else to fair, probably with the exception of live games and mtt tourneys, since hold'em/fcuk'em attracts biggest crowds and prize pools, so taking a shot at megabucks here and there is reasonable. btw stars is the best place for non holdem games for sure

So, I couldn't make it for yesterdays game but I thought I'd leave my buy-in there for somebody to scoop.
Turns out I came third for a profit of $0.01. This is the first time I've been placed in a stud tournament. Apparently I play better when I don't show up.

lol, great strategy- you almost came in 2nd, before we blinded you out on purpose with takingdrugs- the tournament itself was a real piece of sh1t a few min in the tourney we all understood that it will take forever with 20K stack and fl format...so after an 1.5 hours we went bonkers- all in for 5 rounds, a couple guys lost, then we repeated the same later, another one was gone...then we were left heads up an u sitting out...played a bit- decided to blind u out and finished heads up in a lottery again.... never again gonna do fl tourney with 20K stacks and 10 min blinds . we all agreed that with 20K it's only nl or pl. for fl we either go with smaller starting stack or 3 min blinds.
anyway thanks all who entered the tourney- for the first time we had 6 players! we talked a bit and decided to go for a couple of small buy in tourneys, hope to see even more faces...but i doubt that so here's the schedule for this weekend:
if any new players are interested in taking part in those tourneys: - If you don't already have it, download PokerStars software - Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab - Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button - Enter Club ID number: 671258 - Enter Invitation Code: pokerisrigged

Well I'll be back playing from next week. It's just that I've been busy this last two weekends.
For what it's worth I think sticking to NLHE and PLO will attract the most players. I'd keep buy ins at $1 and maybe play a $5 tournament once a month.

ok lets try this. gonna make a recurring schedule- every saturday at 19.00 GMT will have a weekly $1.10 PL Omaha tourney, and on every Sunday at 19.00 GMT a NL Hold'em $1.10 weekly tourney. both of them gonna have same structure- 20K starting chips, 10 min blinds, top 20% paid, no rebuys/add-ons. anyone who's interested are welcome to register. as far as monthly $5 tourney goes- what type would you want it to be...are there any other players who has any ideas...suggestions?

sorry il have to miss this weeks tounaments, got stuff to do but think the new plan sounds good. if you set u a $5 game make it no limit holdem so we get more players. or one month NLH and one month PLO
pesonnally i tink that 10k stacks would work out better but thats just my oppinion.

yeah nice suggestion about rotating monthly $5 buyin tourney monthly- ok lets start this month with NL Holdem- just not sure about the date- should we pick last day of the month or any other date, saturdays/ sundays have $1.10 tourneys, should we stack this on top, what time etc.?
Posted by takingdrugs: personally i tink that 10k stacks would work out better but thats just my oppinion.
i'm too lazy to change that- but if 642 players gonna ask me to- will have to go with the crowd in pl/nl games i doubt if size of stack is gonna be an issue- besides it's not often you get a chance to play with 20K stack in small buy in tourneys...
