Been playing cash games micro in betfair since i build my roll to over 30usd from freerolls and micro SNG....I decided to play cash games and today have reach my first goal to make my BR to 100usd..... 2nd goal is make my 100 to 1000....I will continue playing cash game micro and to reach my 2nd goal....
Thanks noon....still learning things in micro cash game and your right discipline is very important on this type of games...you cannot do some stupid things in this level....

can you expand on this a bit- you started playing cash games with a $30 bankroll? what games, what stakes, what was the buyin etc. and how long did it take you to reach $100 fro the initial $30? anyway really great achievement, probably you can forget about doomdy's staking/ coaching for now at least

Gratz to reach your first step. Its a long way to build a little bankroll with the 5$ omaha/nl holdem freerolls. But there are a lot x-times in an hour. And 100$ is a solid roll to start the next step from the micros.

Very nice accomplishing your goal. The next one might be even harder since you are gonna play micros only also but im wishing you all the best with it. Just keep the same pattern that brought you there.
Thanks mobsters....i got so many hard times in building this roll but slowly im learning things the hard way but its worth the time and dedication to win every hand that i play...bad beats was also part of it but that is poker really....looking forward for my 2nd goal....looking for guidance with the poker gods....

hello poch.....last june to july my br was at 25 to 35 usd it was going down and up at SNG 11 cent and DON 1.2usd...last month august betfair has a summer slam promo...if you earn 70points in 1 week you will get 10usd cash bonus so i decided to play cash game....NL4 but i buy in for 2usd 4 tables....made 70 points in 2 weeks got 20 usd and winnings in cash game to reach my br to 100usd this month of august....of course experience some bad beats and card beatings.... ...manage to control tilt...looking forward on my 2nd goal.....

First step is always the easiest one. keep up the good work and do not make more mystakes to pull you down to step one. To make a living from poker you need more than 100$/week Good luck

Well done. Just keep playing the cash game, micro sng's at ongame network have a quite big fee, i dont think is profitable play them. Anway keep on good work, and post some updates.

Well the second step is too big and you will find it hard to get.You have rise the stakes and be winning at that stakes.Than will come suddenelly a BAD BEAT from nowhere and will bring tou back to step one.Good luck

No way, don't let Doomdy off the hook. Once he has the time, I'm really interested in how this story unfolds...
Besides, now you've proven yourself, I think you are an even better candidate for his coaching, since this is where the real value lies; the step from winning, to winning enough to live on...
Who knows, maybe you'll get there even before Doomdy has a chance to coach you...

Nothing like building the BR from scratch. I don't know what it is, but when you start out and do this one manages their BR so much better. The reason I say this (at least for me) when I started mine from nothing back in the Fulltilt days I was critical about the games I played and managing my BR. Ever since my 1st deposit I feel I'm a bit more reckless in my decisions. Not that I give my BR away, but in the past 3 months I've been playing rebuys and bigger buyins.
