That sucks... However on a $20 bubble in a freeroll (was it?), still with a decent stack (CSI > 7), I would pretty much fold everything, unless the payout structure was very steep. You can just wait for someone to lose patience, or blind out.
That call with AQ by your opponent, was really bad imo; no fold equity, for all of his stack on the bubble. If there were a short stack left, I would not even call with AA in that situation.

it had been 4 handed for at least half an hour... And yeah, it was a freeroll - but given the same situation time after time, I'd still push every time. Me and the AQ idiot were both on around 90k, 1st was on 250k and 2nd 150k. If he had pushed UTG - I would have folded. But no, he obviously decided to 'trap me' by limping... You should've seen the speed of the call too once I'd pushed. I'm still steaming about the whole situation now.
------------ ....and btw - it was a $100 freeroll, that had around 250 entrants with ONLY the top 3 getting paid. 20, 30 and 50.... It makes it all the more difficult to take, but it also makes his play EVEN worse. Oh well.... Onwards and upwards - mustn't let it get to me too much. It's really not about the money (I am disappointed that it's cost my 'stakers') but it was only $20. It's very much just the principle of it.

I see, I assumed you were not the short stack, since it was relatively healthy compared to the blinds. In that case you had nothing to fear from the big stacks (they should just wait until you knock each other out), and the other short stack, was unreasonable to call imo. His trap was risky (maybe with AA or KK I would try a trap in this situation, he should have pushed here with AQ). Bad luck...

Cashed in the $50 FL on Party again (2 out of 2 now)... and cashed in Unibet BankrollMob and $50 NL Hold'em... Trying to concentrate mainly on the scheduled freerolls as oppose to the shasta and PLO hero sng ones. The main reason for that being that the potential rewards are bigger in the scheduled tournies.. but for guaranteed bankroll - both the shasta and PLO are good, so I'll play them when I can in the gaps between good scheduled freerolls....

I see that while you started later on Everest Poker you managed to get the most money so far. The have low buy ins for ring games and sng's, there so that would be a good chance to double even faster your bankroll

Been a bit busy the last day, so not played a whole lot. Gonna play some Hero Poker PLO freerolls, and the BRM tournies on Stars and Unibet now... then I'm off out for the night. Hopefully I'll have the chance to play a few tournies later, assuming I don't fall asleep.
Mober - the money won on Everest has mainly come from 2 decent cashes (in freeroll terms) early on... and I don't believe it necessarily means I will continue to do better there than the other sites. I have 2 weekly round 2's on stars this weekend.... so I'll hopefully be boosting my stars roll a lot ....And I'm not gonna play with any of the winnings, I've decided. All money must come from free to enter tournies, that don't require a deposit, so anyone else could play in the same things.
------------ ....No cash in any of the tournies. Ridiculous beats in EVERY SINGLE ONE.
36 people left in Unibet BRM tourney... Blinds 200/400, stack 4500, in 24th position. Go all-in with Ad Kh..... Guy with 7500, in 18th position, calls with Ac 8c.... Flop 2h 9h 2c... Turn 6h...... River 8d.
Can't remember how exactly the others went down, other than I was dominating every time the chips got in, only to be sucked out on.
......meh - hopefully that's all my bad luck used up in one go

jomull, It's hard to say exactly, as I'm not keeping records of it.... but I'd say I'm playing anywhere between 5 and 15 tournies a day - so about 60 tournies seems a decent estimate.
The weekly round 2 is just about to start on Pokerstars.... this is my first chance for some good cash. Fingers crossed
