Alright, so as you may know, I was planing on playing nothing but MTT's but since I had to cash out what I had due to an unexpected bill I've now decided to build my bankroll up from freerolls. My goal is to reach $5 by the end of the month so I can deposit $25 and get started on my MTT thingie with a $30 bankroll.
Anyway, I blew away the $0,30 that I had on a CG table with 88 and flop 8AA and that a** was sitting on AA. So I'm down to $0,00 and I'm now going to try to get my bankroll up to $5. I will hopefully manage this but I haven't actually tried to build my bankroll that much from only freerolls before so it's gonna be interesting to see how I do.

Macubaas: Maybe I should have mentioned that. I play at PartyPoker, my absolute favorite site!
I will be signing up for 2 freerolls today that I may or may not be able to play. I was actually called into work for 2 hours this afternoon so i might miss those freerolls. In any case, I will still put up the results and if I did indeed miss parts of them, I'll make a note about that!

That was a nasty loss there. Starting again from scratch is a pain and sometimes discouraging. But you have set it as a goal, and that matters. Also the 5$ isnt much to accomplish. It might take a lucky strike and get it all at once. gl

GL with your challenge. Its a really tough one. Which site are you trying to build up your roll ? Or are you trying to do it by playing on differnt sites for more options ?

Its pretty doable imo to build a bankroll out off nothing. If you multitable like crazy and play TAG its pretty easy imo, $100 in 1 month must be doable
If you are playing are PartyPoker then you should download their casino software aswell. They run a casino slot freeroll tournament where you have unlimited chips and the top 10 highest winners receive 2.50$. I know there is no skill involved but its still a freeroll, and you can use that money to play poker. the casino and poker accounts are not segregated.

So, I joined a freeroll this morning but wasn't able to play even a single hand but somehow I got in the money and cashed for $0,04
Just got knocked out 160 places away from the money on another freeroll. I had AKs, lost against Q3. min raise pre-flop, he calls. Flop comes out rainbow JQT. He raised me all-in, I of course called this. He shows his Q3 off suit and I show my AK suited. The turn comes out Q. And then the facking bastard sucked me out on the river hitting a T! He had only a pair with crap kicker and runner runnered a full fcuking house!!

Goodluck on your challenge that's a pretty rough beat with the full house vs quads. And then the runner runner quads vs your flopped full house, well keep at it you should be Able to get 5$ from freerolls

Just got kicked out of the $50 freeroll. Amazing I stayed in it for so long really. AA vs 89 - lost, KK vs 77 - lost, QK vs 9T with QK8 flop - lost, 66 vs 76 with 6 on flop - lost.
A total donkfest. I can honestly say that I have never ever seen so low standards and complete skill less pokerplay as I saw today. And I've played my brother quite a lot and when these guys play worse then him, it really really REALLY is bad!!
