Yesterday PokerStars announced an exciting new promotion that gives players the chance to play tennis and poker against Rafael Nadal. Between September 24 and October 2, there will be freerolls (Rafa Dream Day) five times per day, plus $1.10 qualifiers available every 2 hours around the clock.
The winner of each free roll and the top three players in the $1.10 qualifier will win a seat in the fin[...] Read more » Rafa Dream Day: Win the chance to play poker and hang out with Rafael Nadal!

A signed baseball cap to the loosers??? What does baseball have got to do with Rafael Nadal? It doesn’t seems like a nice conformation gift for me. I know my chances in getting to this tourney are very reduced, as I would have to be able to win a several thousand field freeroll and then get to the top of the main event. But passing through so much sacrifice to get a signed baseball cap doesn’t seem reasonable. I know the buy-in is peanuts, but there will be lots of competitors, which would justify better prizes for the top finishers.

You might not be able to beat Rafa Nadal on the tennis court, but thanks to PokerStars' new promotion you might be able to beat him at the poker table.

don't see the point of this promotion- yeah maybe it's fun to play against rafa, just because he is celebrity, but that's the only catch- and in reality this has nothing to do with poker, btw i would rather have a heads up "fcuk till last" session with maria sharapova. anyway the only plus i see here, is that a free route to the prize is available

I would rather spent the day with some female poker pros.
In the past pokerstars Belgium had a television show where 2 known Belgians played versus 2 belgian pros vs 2 online qualifiers. (no cash play , just for the honour)
I personnaly don't need to play versus rafa , but maybe others do....

You wont be able to beat Rafa on the tennis court unless your name is Roger feeder or Novak Djorkorvic i can bet my house on it that nobody is this forum would win against him in a game of tennis. As for the prize i would absolutely love to spend the day with Rafa. He is a tennis icon and you get a free trip to a beautiful part of Spain. Nadals English is actually not that bad its not perfect but he can hold conversations quiet capably. I would be more interested in meeting the Tennis player Rafa not the poker player as he would probably be only as good as Borris becker and he is average at best at poker.

hes s**t anyways!lol
I really didn’t knew that, sorry for my unexpertise in what matters to hats! But looks like these prizes aren’t getting the attention of many people. It will only be a game for the game, and being cheap, it will be just another super crowded event in which many players will not even know why are they playing that. It’s just because it was the one available at that moment.
