I learned to play online. I was playing casino games at the time and bingo when i saw an add for a poker site. Followed the link and kinda glued to the game, read the rules online, played few freerolls. and got the hang of it. Cant remember the site though. It is one of the 'gone list".

i learned 5 card draw when a kid, my stepdad used to gamble with us poker and craps for pocket money, always seemed to win . my introduction into texas hold em though, was through waching late night poker as a few others have mentioned, with characters like the devilfish and phil helmuth and most of the hendon mob, all the bluffing and levelling going on was mesmerising and so addictive, played occasionally over the years but really got into it from playing live, and now hope to play professionally(as in make my money that way).
