still week or so left till poll ends but it seems we are odds on to have our tourney on December 22nd. any ideas on blinds: would you go for 5 or 10 min blinds better?

Okay, I voted for December 22. I have never been able to participate in these tournaments before, usually because of time restrictions or start time. But this time I will make an effort to be there, but watch out for the guy with the crazy eyes and bad teeth...

it looks like it just need some time to go with the majority brm'ers on date...and then gonna do a quick poll (maybe on separate thread) about blinds (5 or 10 min) and maybe even quicker one about start time (anything from 18 gmt to 20 gmt)

------------ just an update: i will create & open tourney for registration on November 22nd- since pokerstars allow tourney to be opened max 30 days before the actual tourney takes place. this friday gonna do a test tourney to see if the structure (3K stack, 10 min blinds, 2 rebuys & 1 addon, +antes) feels nice- anyone can register it's play money tourney. no prizes up for grabs, but i think next week i will do a similar one, with x amount of places added to the christmas tourney...not sure yet, but will update on that later

Since i've made another small deposit on stars to try my luck, i guess it wont harm registering the poker club... still not sure if i'll be able to play the tournament but the prize is getting so appealing i might make an effort here to join up and take 1st place ... No need to start worrying already coz i might not play it lol

ok i decided to go with the following structure after testing it out successfully in the test tourney: starting stack 3000, blinds- 10 min, 2 rebuys & 1 addon (4000 chips). rebuys available for the first hour. sitting outs last around 1.15h, only 15 min more than the rebuy period itself. hope you will like it.

i am happy to confirm that $50 from Bankrollmob.com (BRM) has been transferred to our tourney. this money will be used to pay top 10 players- $5 each.
also today AlexSimion pledged to give $40 to the tourney December 1st, & Doarulle also joined the list of tourney donors with $10 donation, once he withdraws his mobpoints. gonna update with all the confirmed donations, so far i can confirm that brm has sent $50, and i set aside $2...the rest will be send once the tourney nears the start.
if anyone wants to sponsor the tourney with any amount just inform us here- i sure hope we will have a fat christmas tourney to enjoy!
