I fear to all-in in freerolls without having a flush, ace high And I generally fold KK preflop if there's two or more all-ins before me
Though, at later stages of freerolls I might do exactly what you did, but we're talking less than 50 players remaining Otherwise, it's just a bingo game.

Sick cal that 78o, he had less chips than you, he should be really confident on getting something. And he got that straight draw at the flop and, again, another sick call to the all-in, flush draw only came at the turn and, for his luck, another spade at the end. Freerolls should be played more carefully when reaching these positions of almost in the money.

Freerolls are just all about sick hands and weird bets, well they are free after all lol
As for a post from above i think it's right to fold KK preflop if you have two or more all-ins before you, there are 80% chances or higher that one of them has AA.

Its a freeroll, you have KK and you are gonna fold to an all in?. I understand folding a few places before money, but again not calling with KK? When you have pocket KK someone has 80% or more for pocket AA? Are you sure or im getting wrong what you are saying here

The problem with freerolls is that you can not play by logic pokerplay.
There are to many gamblers or people that play without any strategy.
Even if you play 10 hands with each 80% chance of winning preflop, then you still have 2 losses and if you get unlucky and the other has a bigger stack you re out.
So another tip when your halfway , avoid high preflop raises or allins preflop unless your smallstack
