This is a post by Ryan Fee in another forum.
Its pretty basic stuff, but from a few posts here a lot of people could do with reading it. Its long enough, but its 10 times better than any book you could ever read on poker. This is good solid advice here.

If you have any questions on stuff in this, just ask away and I'll try my best to explain. Some of it may be difficult to understand if your not used to 2p2 terminology.

In fact there are a few. By far the best you can get are either PokerTracker or HoldemManager. Both are very very good. Both also have programs which overlay the stats onto the table so you can see them as you play without having to go looking.
I would consider anyone playing without one of these as wasting their time. Obv there are a couple of notable exceptions but I'm not gonna go into that now.
i read his book about how to play at medium no limit 5-6 table poker so it very good book and the most important thing about that is this book to learn how to play NOW not 10 years later...

Okay, I already have poker tracker but havn't quite figured how it works, so more reading for me. I noticed Ryan uses HodemManager and I might consider purchasing this. Tools can only be good for your game.
------------ In fact the program does not seem to work on the software I use.

I'd advise you to figure out PT before getting HM as well. They are both pretty similar....
In which way is PT not working? What are you having trouble with?

Interesting reading indeed. I enjoyed reading it and acting like Ryan suggests should help in long-term. Then again the problem is he is assuming loose players act loose all the time and tight players stay tight, but thats just not the case in real world.
