Yeah, you won a ticket and you are able to chose between spending that ticket or receive the money the ticket is worth. I think that's something normal, i think you only look surprised perhaps because it had never happened to you or you never heard know one talking about it. I never got a situation like that because all the tickets i won were cheap.

You have the same option in Fulltilt, taking tournament money andselling the ticket..My suggestion is to take the T $ and play what you good are.In the huge tournament only the luckiest one win the event Good luck

Well done there. This is a great value ticket you are getting. If you dont play and take the tournaments dollars can these be converted to real cash, or can be used only for tournament buy ins?
both on pokerstars and FTP they can be converted to cash.
on ps there is even the option of trading T$ for cash with any player. of course, a third party service has been established that usually offers you a rate of about 97% of your T$ worth in cash. just google it and choose one that seems legit to you.
on FTP you have to take a 5% hit to your T$ bankroll because you can only convert to cash via FTP and they take 5% commission.

wow nice result.. I would definitively play sunday million.. I cant even imagine how hard it could be to get ITM.. but you can win real lifechanging money (with huge luck ofcourse)
"The average field size is more than 7,000 players. The biggest Sunday Million field so far was 59,128 players, on March 6, 2011 generating a total prize pool of $11,825,600." Holly...

That's a nice ticket to win. It would be nice to play in it again so you could win another ticket and then wouldn't that allow you to cash the other out? Since I'm not familiar with this I was just wondering if you could do that.
Dont be silly.. take the money and grind it up.. Yes its nice to try the SM, but the chances of hitting a big cash are somewhere between slim and nil. Don't let anyone kid you, there are donks in that game as well. Eastern european obliarchs with more money than sense who love to gamble and $215 is sod all to them. I only ever played it once, and I picked up KK on the BB. SB shoved all in pre flop for something like 90xBB. I snap called and he turned over 5 6 suited. He hit a straight on the flop...
