Thanks for the detailed reply now i do understand why you think im a donk, and i gotta agree it was probably very bad play by me, the thing about these freerolls and me thinking that i have solid read on other players is because many ppl in here play any two so even if i raise normally (3 or 4 BBs ppl will still call with these hands many times, because in these freerolls is no such a thing as respecting a raise from early position)Now i have completely different mind on these hands as ive had in this time (it was also affected, that i was not playing so good at all recently, probably was doing way more misstakes, then i even realised.) But now i have a clear mind, So ive started using software called Pocker Tracker 4 i believe its helped me to be more orientated on the table, especially if playing more tables at once. So early in the tourney im supposed to play in EP only monsters? and on LP the range gets wider, but still folding hands such as KQ, KJ if im not the one to open raise? and if they are suited i believe i should play them, or still open raise them in EP, or MP? or what do you think

If I may give you some advice.

Firstly, you have to put the game into some form of context. So I am going to put the game of poker into a scenario similar to a war.

You are a general of an army, your chips are your soldiers, and your weapons are what you are giving your troops to fight with.

The stronger your weapons ( THE CARDS ) The stronger your soldiers ( YOUR CHIPS ) become.

In this scenario AA is a nuclear weapon, and 7 2 offsuit is a feather duster. Every other hand somethere in between the two is a weapon.

Naturally, the weaker your weapon ( the cards ) the weaker your army is, and you have to make sure that before committing your troops you equip them with weapons suitable for the battle they are about to fight. You wouldn't send all your troops into a battle armed with feather dusters. You can expect to lose huge humbers. However if you have a nuclear bomb, you want all your troops there ready to fight with the best weapons available.

So lets start at the beginning.

Your primary objective is what ?

I bet you are saying "I have to win all the chips", which seems like the most obvious answer. If you win all the chips you win the game right.. Actually thats wrong. Your obkective is to preserve your own stack. Much like a general would want to protect his troops. A generals first prority in any battle is to protect his troops. THEN if he can do this, his aim is to try and take prisoners.

I will post some more advice later once I've got time, but please, take a read of the advice and htink about it. I am no expert, but my ideas may provide you with something that makes you look harder at how you play hands, and how you can benefit from it.

Remember...

1) Your aim is not to win eveyrone elses chips, but to stop them winning yours. That means unless you are sure you are going to win, don't go trying to shove your way to winning huge pots. Over aggresion is as dangerous to a player as under aggressiion.

2) Your chips are your soldiers, and your cards are your weapons.. Your weapons have to be suitable for the purpose of hte battle else your troops are going to struggle. Always make sure the weapons you have are good enough that the troops you are preparing to send into battle can fight. If you send in too many troops with the wrong weapons you are in for a huge defeat.

thanks for the reply so far. I would like to point out that i know all the basics, about position and how important it is, i probably became way too LAG, and thats the main problem right? im trying to constatly work on these factors, However i think i just have to be tighter overall, but i also started recently protecting my hand, started to 3-Bet little more often when i got a good hand, so the bottom pairs and AQ, AJ, etc even suited will probably give up on that hand unless they are stupid
but sometimes ppl dont even respect 3-Bets in these freerolls or microstakes, but i tried out recently some SNG freezeout with 10 or 15 min blinds, and actually i felt pretty confident there, even tho it was just 0.25$ buyin and 45man, i was pretty much the whole time chip leader,(i could aswell point out that i was tight and waiting for good opportunities, life became much easier on the table :o, and the fact that i was chip leader despite being pretty tight) however finished 9th because ran with set into a fullhouse which is unfortunate, now thinking back about the hand. i think i could have actually folded the set, knowing that there is possibility he might have a set aswell with better kicker or a fullboat.. well he completed the fullboat on the river but he indeed had a better kicker. Well now i would probably even fold the set, is also true i like to build up stack quickly if possible, but now i started to be tight in the early phase and play only premium hands or depending on the situation sometimes playing some decent hands in position, and in EP folding even AJ in early phase.. i feel like its quite weak in EP despite its AJ, so many times dominated :/ im aswell constantly trying to improve my game, i reevaluate the hands where i think i could have played them differently, Sometimes i dont really have a clear view and clear mind. But im trying to fight this part aswell, as we all experience these suckouts, just some of us more often and some less. Anyway gonna check back later.
