well my favorite player is unquestionably Daniel Negreanu. Why is because he is a Canadian player like myself, and he is a gentleman at the table. He also does not seem to have gotten a big head after becoming rich and famous like so many others have. I also like that he just comes across as an honest to god good person.

I have two favourite players who are opposite in their style of play and evrything !! My first would be Phil Helmuth , he is maniac !! when on the tables he is most entertaining !! I like Phil Helmuth's play very much ..
On the other hand i also like Tom Dwan - He is Cool head , i like his play very much .

well Ronin pointed out Daniel for a good reason- whenever you see a guy who is not acting like he is the king of the world, even though he can easily do so, since he is rich & famous- you have to admire such person. So yeah i would go with Daniel Negreanu too- more for his personality & less for him as a poker player. Since my favorite poker players are those who lose their money to me- they are the best
Phil Ivey for sure. He showed everyone what can you achieve with only love for the game and not much else to work with. Only hard work made him best in the world.

Phill Hellmuth without any doubt.. The most succesful poker player of all time with a record that blows everyone else out the water, and he's been crushing NLHE for almost 25 years now.
OK he acts like an arse, but when you are as good as he is you can afford to be, and he does have a point. 99.99% of people playing would struggle to spell poker let alone know how to play it.

I like several of todays players, but going to have to go with the number one money maker Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari and then the old timer Doyle Brunson.
I also like Vanessa Selbst from the women's side of poker. All of them used to be on High Stakes which I used to enjoy watching the episodes which were posted here in the forum.

Crushing tournament NLHE. Correction there. Ivey is crushing everything else. Also victory above reminded me about Cunningham, for sure one of the best.

Phil Ivey and Gus Hanson are my favorites in the past. And i like, off course, the sweet Liv Boeree... She won a EPT tourney two years ago and she was verry tough in the hu game. But it is not easy to say this or this player is the best. There are a lot of verry good pros live and online...

No doubt he is good player, but its not excuse of his "acting" he is total piece of sh1t. And we should not forget that most of his bracelets he won, when there was 200-300 field of players in WSOP, now its 7000-8000.
