You don't make a mistake, if you get your chips in preflop with AA. AK is a different animal. You will have a flip a lot of the time, and the hand will often be beaten by total junk.

agree,,, nowadays you need to have a reportoire for each hand..for each position..for every stage in a tournament...
you simply can't play A-K always in the same way(betting line)then it would be too easy for others to figure what you holding and take advantage of it...sometimes you even have to fold A-K preflop, this also counts for j-j or q-q or lower pairs..
if you can't fold,,you got a problem.
learn from your experiences,, and play those hands according to your findings.
for instance ,,, here at brm we have the link to preflopwizard..i used it once to see if my desicions would be different then the wizzard.
conclusion ,,preflopwizard sucks, big time don't go blind on all that's been written in books...there are very succesfull SELF-EDUCATED pokerplayers online,,,
they created there own strategy, by their experiences. a bit of intellect will help a lot tho.
good luck on this mather...
pokerbooks are general strategy...if you had the secret to win 100% in online poker, would you reveal that secret in a book to the rest of the world??..or use it for your own advantage only??

When u r up playing FR. Dont stick to the rules. If u got AA and AK just push. Coz in FR ppl Like to call atc. THey just wanna double up and pray luck is wif them. so doesnt really matter in FR
