Directly it means, for us, "Proof of Identity", so when somebody has the POI status it's usually because instead of uploading valid ID, they uploaded a picture of Pamela Anderson or something "funny" like that. Or they tried to scam us by making a fake ID, stuff like that. Then we request a new ID and won't process their account until VALID id has been uploaded and approved.
