No I don't think so. It would have been better if you didn't play a qualifier for a MiniFTOPS Main Event if you were not going to play Main Event anyway Now you might as well take a shot at it...
Yeah looks like it. I usually rely on satellites to boost my bankroll and thought the game i was in worked out the same but it award tickets instead of seats (which I can usually unregister)
Ah well. Im very scared to play this game its out of my league any advice anyone. Is it best to register as late as possible in this game (so the field would be reduced somewhat) or register early and risk my allin AA gets bust out by a bigger stack with 33 lol. In 600 flips on FTP where I am EV+ over 500 of them have been beat .. warped stats?? fiddling by the programming team>? i am so scared of playing at full tilt poker right now..
Please I need some good advice on playing this game

get some practice, its a good oportunity to get some exerience in these bigger games if your not that confident at the moment, but just treat it like any other poker game, do the best you can with the cards your dealt and you might even suprise yourself.

man its just ticket. You have it for free, just play it and dont be in stress because its "big tournament" and there will be probably good players. Take it as your advantage, cause you hadnt to pay for it
And this tournament have really good structure for tight play, cause there are long levels and big starting stack. So just play tight (but not extremely ), do not committ too much to pot with mediocre hands and with little bit of luck you can get ITM gl with that.
i got a free ticket to a miniftops Main event satilite i played it i was a very good game . i didn't win any thing but i didn't do that bad you should play it anyway you will get ft points at the very least . you could win some thing give it a go

Well done on winning the ticket. It may feel you are out of your usual waters, but the fact you won that ticket means you have a clue PLay a couple of tournaments before using the ticket, and try to play the game stress free. Go on and play it, don’t be scared. Perhaps it will even be better if you enter this tourney not thinking about your capabilities. This way, you will be less stressed than the others, because you will be playing it just for the fun, and you can even be more loose aggressive than your opponents, what may give you a certain advantage. Go for it, play the game, I believe you’ll come here telling us about the great experience you had for having spending some time on that ticket. I will not wish you luck for this because you won’t be needing it, you’ll be just playing another tourney and the results may surprise you…

I had pretty much the same experience on TitanPoker in last years iPOPS .. I won $109 ticket and was not able to unregister...
I felt a little unsure aswell sine it was the biggest tournament I've ever played.. I tried to keep in mind I only paid $2.75 for the ticket so I was able to play stress-free..
It was a really nice and exciting experience and I think I played just OK.. got close to the bubble..
But as others already said, just try to enjoy the big game and keep in mind it's good practise And Weenies point on on the structure is good..

congratz for the ticket. I think you rly should give a chance ... i mean its a big event/tournament.... and if you doing your best , i rly think you can take a good place. Just focus and dont think its a big tournament. GL if you playing.

Right, you have chance. don't pessimistic since you won the ticket. Maybe your skill not for that level, but many time luck will help a lot . You won the ticket indicate you have luck. How big ? why not you try ? . GOOD LUCK !!!!
