So, I've been using the same damn number to try and crack the safe, unless of course I won shots, in which case I just did random numbers. Anyways, I figured by now, simple law of probability would dictate I'd hit eventually, but still no dice. Someday though lol.

You realize of course, that it doesn't matter which number you choose right? Whether it's the same one every day, a random one, or try the number that won the day before each time... All have exactly the same chance of winning.
I's just hugely annoying if you play the same number each day, and someone gets there before you...
To answer the question: No, I choose a different number each day.

Voted random / different numbers. I've already ranted in another thread as to why I think using the same numbers is a bad idea, so I won't again save to say I think you're tempting fate / Murphy's Law

As you stated, unless I'm buying extra shots or won some from the calendar I usually stick to the same number, but I've only hit the safe once using my daily number. I've won two times with extra shots so I guess I might try a new strategy.

Well you have 1 in 1000 chance of hitting so I'd say the law of probability isn't quite on your side just yet. Plus there are so many members, chances are some poor sods won't hit once in five years. I actually cracked it on my first day but I've been pretty lucky as far as the safe is concerned.
Like Jess, I've explained before why picking random numbers is your best bet, but one more time for a special forum friend:
If someone else is using the same number as you, and seeing as there are only 1000 safe numbers that is quite likely, you are racing everyday to enter that number, and if you are not first it is going to hurt a lot more than if you did not know what number you were going to enter.
Similarly, if you ever miss a day you will have the same problem, unless you are never tempted to look at the winning numbers. This is one of the psychological traps lotteries use to hook their customers, the fear that your numbers will come up.
Although theoretically each number has the same chances there is no guarantee the process is random and in any case I suspect that some numbers are chosen more often by brm members so in effect, the chances of winning with a commonly chosen number is less. There is therefore the possibility that you are not winning because your number is a poor choice. Whilst you cannot predict the best numbers, choosing randomly will theoretically give you an even spread of 'lucky' and 'unlucky' numbers.

Same number, every single day, 3 years now. Sometimes more than once a day So i must have put more than 365x3= 1095 entries of my number But it hasn't come yet.
I guess Patience is the word for cracking the safe, and i expect to hit it this year cheers!
