there are a bunch of talented players in this field, could become some amazing match ups.
Which match up would you love to see?
I think durrr vs isildur would be an amazing one to see live on tv....
besides that some old school new school confrontations could be interesting like
faraz Jaka vs mike sexton.....

I watch this list and i think that some of the best poker players in the world will take place on this one Big Smile

I think that out of all those players the best chances have Viktor Blom and also Phil Ivey but anything can happen!

If i had to pick a winner i would probably go for Liv Boeree. LOL just kidding.
i could see Ben Lamb taking it down or Michael Mizrachi. so many good players tho, i guess its just down to who runs the best on the day.

Greg Merson, according to his latest blog post, doesn't care much for his heads-up game at the moment. Despite admitting to falling behind the virtual crowd, Greg still enjoyed some online success during the PCA:

"I spent all my time down there playing on PokerStars in basically every game from $5/$10 to $50/$100."

Throughout the blog Greg also outlines his thoughts on the current state of heads-up poker and why he thinks there's a vast divide between "who's good and who's average".

yeah players enrolled make you Shock lots of potentially amusing match-ups possible, i think this sort of tourney is a dream for any good marketer- really lots of big names, lots of confrontations that can be easily arranged"- taking a bet on who is going to win would probably be a pure gamble

After all, the bigger names were almost all revealed on the first part, and my prediction of seeing even more well-known pros on this HU championship were wrong. Maybe I also was a bit amateur on pointing some names that probably don’t even have good skills or previous records on HU, and that will be important, if not fundamental. We all know what Blom can do, and it will be nice to see Doyle Brunson HU, I recently saw him on this type of game (2011 event against Chris Moneymaker, he lost J4h vs J9s after going all-in with 6s8sJd on the flop), and although his strength may not be at the top, he sure would like to get a revenge from that.
