i wonder why chris ferguson and howard lederer didn't enter the tourney i'm sure lots of players are dreaming about taking their scalps...and we're not talking literally here just for the public interest some porn star could've been included in the roster too- just make the tourney "boobier"

Daniel Negreanu is a major casualty just before the begining of the event. Looks like it is made for the show to go on, the bigger battles are saved for the next level. Phil Hellmuth vs Mike Sexton seems to be one of the greatest battles from this phase. I will leave my prediction for the next round: Esfandiari vs Duhamel (“the rich” fights “the kid” Mortensen vs Cates (for Cates) Rousso vs Deeb (this girl will keep on going) Julius vs Seiver ()for seiver Lamb vs Raymer (for Lamb) Blom vs Mizrachi (Blom: “want to have some online side action while we play this?” Hermigan vs Oppenheim (for Oppenheim) Ivey vs Bonomo (for Phil) Busquet vs Bellarde (for Busquet) Galfond vs Jaka (tough… but Galfond wins) Grospellier vs Hellmuth (for Grospellier) Sommerville vs Sands (for Sommerville) Dwan vs Brunson (this will be awesome 30 minutes of TV show, and in the end Dwan wins) Hastings vs Schulman (for Hastings) Merson vs Seed (for Merson) Boeree vs Smith (the other girl keeps going) Does anyone knows if bet sites have anything about this available to apply some bucks? Can’t confirm it by now…

several matches have already concluded. Perhaps the biggest match of the day was between Phil Ivey and Phil Laak, with Ivey ultimately advancing to the next round.
The Round 1 matches which have finished at this time are:
• Barry Greenstein defeated Ben Lamb • John Monnette defeated Greg Raymer • Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom defeated Andrew Lichtenberger • Mike Matusow defeated Michael Mizrachi • John Hennigan defeated David Williams • Sam Simon defeated David Oppenheim • Phil Ivey defeated Phil Laak • Justin Bonomo defeated Isaac Haxton • Joseph Cheong defeated Olivier Busquet • Eugene Katchalov defeated Faraz Jaka • Justin Smith defeated Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier

Yes, 19 right out of 32 was an excellent result, that means 61.3% of correct predictions!!! I’m just sad for haven’t made any bet about it, but at least I can keep the comfort of having a lot of guessing skills. I just cleaned my predictions from the first level so one could better compare our two predictions (and to see how many will I get right from the beginning), and I realized there’s only one difference on our hunches (besides those I got wrong), which is the victory of HASTINGS (hastings vs elezra) on this round. Let’s see who gets it right!
