Obviously doesn't make a difference to me But I would have to agree with macubaas that the lower buy in should attract more people so I voted for it being $1.10. Good luck all
Posted by Macubaas: I always thought that the guaranteed value of a tournament must be at least ten times bigger than the buy in so i guess 1.1 dollars should be right
I also think that with this buy in you'll attract more public since the buy ins usually start from over 2 dollars on guaranteed games.
will vote this way as well. When do you plan on posting in the lobby? Might be tight for this weekend.

Posted by SorinelPoker: well in december "the rigged place" had tournaments every weekend with 0.10$ and 1$ buy ins and there never was enough people to play and that is sad.
Now i don't think the buy in will make a difference of how many players will register
i kinda agree with this, most of the players here are freerollers and the ones who will probably play a dollar buy in would probably also do a 2$, if we wanted to attract lots of members we would probably have to do like a 25 cent tourney, i figure this will just be a 2 table one regardless of BI
i was also kinda hoping to maybe up the BI lol min to transfer from FT to Stars is 5$

so saynothing have you decided on the details....i have money sitting in my account (yours & dj premier's)...tourney should be happening sometime this weekend (according to you) but i can't create the tourney without all the details: buy-in, date, time, game type (nl holdem or horse)...structure is the following if i understood things right: 5000 starting stack, 15 min blinds, antes kick in at level 4. oh also the payout strucutre: winner takes it all, top 10%, top 15% or top 20% paid?

Hi pochui, I have been busy all day srry, I see that NLH is the most popular choice, so I guess well go with NLH, also 20% paid sounds fair, and yes 5000 starting stack, 15 min blinds, antes kickin at level 4. I also think sunday will be good, since the other sponsor dj premier said sunday will be a better day........so make it for sunday at 2pm EST. .......see you guy's there, also 1.10 entry fee, no rebuys

G'day mates
I just wanted to drop you a quick note that I will not be able to play in the tournament this time since both people who owed me money decided to not show up today and pay me as promised I am really upset by this as I was counting on them so that I could buy both groceries and a Ukash ticket. Brian owed me $40 and my other friend owes me $250. I call them both and they have not returned my call. I am upset by there lack of forth right honesty.
Good luck to everyone who plays this weekend I hope you all have a great time. maybe i will try a few freerolls.
Be cool
P.S. I am NOT looking for a handout and I will NOT accept one.

Well I grinded away on some freerolls and I have now finished in the money enough that I have the buy in amount so if I am awake I can play in the game.

glad you did well in the freerolls Ronin hope you will be able to play in home game, imo it's a +EV tourney with all the added money to the prize-pool...not sure i will be playing myself, not a fan of texas hold'em & have a gym session this evening...

Well i am sorry but I took my winnind to the 0.01/0.02 cash table and blew the entire load in one hand. I thought I had the nuts so I shoved all in then realize the river was a club not a spade then he called and I had to hang my head in stupidity and shame, then I took a need nappy.

RONIN...Oh dear....basics mate. Get some spectacles and make sure you know the difference between clubs and spades...... have you thought about using a four colour deck.? my children do and they find it pretty helpful.
No offence mate,...just having a chuckle at your defeat.
