Should we have a re-buy & add-on or not?
Expand on the question if necessary: i.e. in the past we used 2 re-buys & 1 add-on mostly. Stars offer following options: regular (no rebuys, no addons), rebuy (unlimited rebuys), 1 rebuy/1 addon, 2 rebuys/1addon, 2 rebuys/no addon. Also shootout (no rebuys/no addons, but you have to eliminate all players from the table to move on) and knockout (bounty on each players head, no rebuys/no addons) is available.
i personally would go for knockout (total buy-in would be $1.35: $1+0.25 bounty+0.10 rake)

bullettooth1 pretty much nailed it- lots of those 500K signed up for the nd bonus- got it & never came back to the site...lots of those who are "active"- never visit the forum or don't even know about it's existence...from what i see hanging around in the forum on a more or less daily basis- there is no more than 100 active members that post in the forum & visit it regularly...

unbelievable, as the site and forum are brilliant (my humble opinion), considering the tournament, I dont really care bout the format, as long as its gonne be a nice evening...
But with only 50 people 2 rbuys and an add on make sure that it takes a while, on the other hand if U do a KO tourney would it be possible to start with some more stack, like 3 or 5 k??

My vote goes to zero re-buy and add-on.That would make the mobsters more carefull about their chips and prevent the tournament to consume more time.The last one took more than three hours with just 11 runners.Good luck

I vote against rebuy and addon too. I dont have money for that now, so I dont want that the others will have this opportunity too Bigger starting stack would be nice.. but not too big, only If you want to play 5 hours 3000 chips should be enough I guess..
Awesome stuff Mr Pochui. I joined BRM over 2 years ago but dropped out of the poker scene. I have gotten back into playing and studying pretty heavily. Won a few tickets here and there but nothing to brag about. I have found BRM to be a huge help not only with starting a bankroll but the knowledge I gained from everyone here and the experience from playing the free-rolls BRM generously gives out.

@DLSLOWRIDE - with all of that butt kissing i think you deserve to be allowed to join the club. i would accept you application the moment i see it, but there is none. not sure what the problem is, one member (mies730) had a similar issue, as far i understand it, from the moment he deposited some money to his stars account problem was solved, maybe this is the issue...i dunno, maybe there are some restrictions for your country...anyways i recommend contacting: [email protected] and explain your situation directly to them. hope to see you in the club & in the tourney.

I think there's no problem in having rebuys, but i don't agree that much with addons, it just seems not fair, puting those who have more financial capabilities with better chances to go hang on than the others. But it's up to you.
