I got a $10 bonus on Poker770 (which is on the iPoker network) a couple of days back. I didn't realise at the time, but it restricted what games it would let me play until I had 'paid $20 in rake', meaning until I've earned 440 points, I can only play on $0.02/.04 NLHE and SnG's $1 or less. As I'm sure you can guess, accumulating that many points on the 2/4 tables is a long and frustrating process, but I'm nearly there now
My $10 has dipped to around $8, but I'm only 30 points away from 'unlocking' the site. I really can't wait for one major reason - I'm itching to play some MTTs again. It won't be the same as on Stars or Tilt with their huge fields, but it's been too long since I played a MTT that wasn't a freeroll.
I've had some nice big cashes over the years in MTTs, so fingers crossed another is on the horizon
good on ya...turned that bonus into some awhile back. Then hit a dwnswing...played tight bnkroll mgt and got out with some . Thinking u have 60 days to clear so if ur a couple days in then all shud be good. Congrats and gl.... with MTT's.

So you gonna be playing MTTs with $10? Don't wanna be a schmuck, but I think you'll loose. More value in grinding < $1 SnGs, you can build a roll this way. Verified.

Wow i have never heard of anyone actually reaching there goal with there initial free $10.00. I usually lose it in about 1 hr. Maybe tho its cos i play as if it s free money so I am much looser than usual. I wish you luck in reaching the final 30 points good luck
