goodday sir i see your an admin i would like to ask you. does it take much work to get brm only to be accesable to bankrollmob member trough pokerstars there alot of private tournaments on there that restrict you automaticly because your not alowed i think this is a very good solution cause it doesn't change much but prevents non member from accesing the tournament therefore getting people to search for the bankrollmob site instead of just picking it of facebook or some blog it will get you more member the tournament stays as full as it was cause people will sign up like crazy and so you dont have just dead accounts for the brm site so that people actually do something you could make the password available to member who have post +25 or +50 post (quality ones not just spamming the forum) or members that have participated in the games or even better for your site only available after atleast one bankroll has been approved these are just simple ways to twitch it to a better envoirment to you and your members.
as i am saying i do not know how much work it will cost to make any of the chances above but i do know that it are atleast some deceant ideas i want to make sure u don't see this as an attack but more as an idea suggestion

arrow-knee-, I appreciate your suggestions, but it's not really possible to come up with a solution that satisfies all parties at this time. We have discussed it internally several times, and we have also had a couple of meetings with pokerstars to see what kind of options there were and currently they don't offer the technical stuff that we would like to make improve it.
Restricting it to forum members would limit it too much, plus increase spam in the forum. Restricting it to members who has taken a no deposit bonus, would also restrict it too much, because not all countries are able to get a no deposit bonus and some countries only have 1 option at times, and if they already have an account there, they can't get the bonus. Right now, *all* of our members can play - and unfortunately - also password stealers.
But we do try to offer at least something for our forum members from time to time, that's why we are sponsoring for the Easter Home Game that pochui is arranging.
That's why I wrote earlier in another thread "it is what it is, so the best you can do is to avoid the freerolls if you are unhappy with their current format." - and from that, "4_the_W" seems to conclude that I think our members don't have value, but our russian non-members do. Weird. Unless "4_the_W" lives in North Korea (or to some extent, China), he is free to do what he wants, so if he doesn't want to participate in that we are currently offering, then he shouldn't.

LOL Admin. you must have a generic response saved somewhere ready for pasting into these threads If you don't you should get one and use that. Would save you a lot of time having to post in all these that are popping up. I know i posted one a while ago but I just get on with it now. As you said "it is what it is"

hmm so i gues ticket system or member restriction trough pokerstars is out of the window indeed forum would get spammed... then how about this. your site has clearafication levels maybe make it so members need to veryify up to level 2 (thats id and phone i believe?) and only then they can get the password... but then if u still have people who posts passwords on there sites... yeah its a real dificult situation im still glad with the brm freerolls i try them all the time mostly getting flunked out by another russian the 10 points isn't gonna fix it either we could report every site that posts passwords but even then what can you do you cant stop their site nor see who the member is so you can ban him... ofc we could trackt he sites ip so you could analyze it with the ip's of members im sure someone who distributes the passwords on there sites get it from the same ip they wont have ip protection cause the sites are to cheap ofcourse that would still leave facebook but it would be a start to get things going it takes no changes on the site only contribution and effort of member who knows sites that distibuted the password and get the site posted in a specially made forum with its ip addres then make a sum up of ip's so you can just control C and control F your member's ip list assuming you can see the ip's of your members

I'm not sure I follow... the IP address of the sites that share stolen passwords, is not the same as the IP address the users are visiting from.

Mine, and i'm very sure, other ppl, is not non-members problem in free-rolls. The problem is ppl with multiple accounts. They generate multiple bad beats. Some of us don't have money to afford put money in site. Yes, that's sadly true. And we have to work daily in those FRs, and when you see a lot of bad things, you start to be angry. I'm sorry, but you have to thing i might have right.

I completely agree that those with multiple accounts should be blocked. I know that demodawgy (or whatever his username is) has been sending a lot of multiple accounts to pokerstars, but I don't know if they do anything about it.
PartyPoker has an interesting requirement for playing in freerolls - that one must have made a deposit at some point, to have a "real money account".

not in every case but in severel cases it is because the site are just blogs or very small sites i will think of a solution that will hhelp till then bring it on donkeys xD

Nope, I'm afraid not. The IP address of the blog/website is that of the server it is hosted on. If it's hosted on a wordpress.com site, then it's the IP address of their servers, which might be in the US. If somebody from Germany is having that wordpress site, and visits our site to get the passwords, then the IP address used is that of his local internet connection and not that of his wordpress site in USA.
So there is no easy way to connect a password-sharing-site to a Mob member, unless we release unique passwords to every user and then see what password is being shared - then we can ban that user, but the user can just create a new account the next day.

I reported those too, with screen shots, but at one point i stopped. B/c i consider is in vain... and i tould them that, and they shouted at me, why i don't appreciate their work... Are you serious? Short story:
"Someone has a big house (let's say in London, there is raining a lot). And that person wanna rent a room, and i take it. dunno if BRM is interested in this, but there is a workaround: actually very simple, with no need to change the existing system: you just need to reshuffle prize-money a bit & problem is solved- here's an example: 1. BRM offer 8 daily freerolls with $25 prize-pool :cut the prize-pool to $5 or even $1 (if there is a possibility to work with pokerstars in this direction). 2. money you save on daily freerolls (about $5-6K a month) should be added to monthly freeroll for top 200 or more (say 500) players in the monthly leaderboard (this way only real BRM'ers would take the majority of money that is actually meant to be only for community members) 3. alter leaderboard prize distribution a bit- since freerolls is a big gamble due to lots of idiots & there is no practical way to get rid of them- there is no point in giving away money according to leaderboard finishing places- just give 200 (or 500 or any other amount) of players an equal amount of cash (i.e. $1500/200= $7.50 for everyone) & most importantly- give them a ticket to monthly freeroll where the big money is- this tourney will be free of donks & only for BRM members (since only they can participate in leaderboard)...
would be interested to hear your opinion (mobsters & admin)

Nope, I'm afraid not. The IP address of the blog/website is that of the server it is hosted on. not with an ip ban but i see the problem only they have to pay extra to get there ip adress coverd up by the site atleast at individual site hostes and most neglect it unique passwords is to tricky indeed but wait
if u make some kind of thread where people have to sign up for that month or 3 month brm freeroll then give unique passwords close the registration before the start period give unique passwords then if u ban the registerd user even if he makes new account after ip ban trough proxy you can see the shifting ip's + they cant reregister with the thread cause it has been closed that way you can atleast certify wich members don't share the passwords and at the same time block the password givers this will give a strict control for you over the password sharing
if unique passwords for everyone is to much u cna do it in parts say give every 100 a different password then u see the one of those passwords will or more wil get shared then close it down to the user that got the password and give them unique again only smaller
i know this task is long and hard but with enough energy in it it could work

i can find myself here but what if the brm freerolls have no price whatsoever and the prizepool of every tourney right now is added to the 1500 dollar freeroll for top 200 then there will be no need for non brm member to play cause there is no money to win? and in the end the right people get the money

Tried that my friend,.... I've played a bunch of games JUST like those idiots,...and it doesn't work,....you just wind up doing even worse...
...figured fight fire with fire,...but I was the only one getting burned....lol...
Just remember,....even though you see one donk win big,....5 donks went down in the process...
So playing a smart game will get you further.

Yes I have,...and it works,... I've sent 1000s,....yes '1000s' to PS and they've removed just about ALL of them.... lol...
It is a real chore though,...and VERY distracting from my game....BUT is also very satisfying...
I have a new tactic,.... I find them at their tables and call them out,... if they speak English,...I get them angry and throw them off their game (of bingo). They call me all sorts of rude names,...but I just lol...and tell them we'll just see what happens,...
I then track them down in the games the next day or so after they've been reduced down to ONE account,...and rub it in their little faces... lol...
