Posted by AlexSimion: I don't want to be the grinch here , but is it really ok to let all those guys with 1 post join ? I have a strong feeling we'll never see them again after this .
fair point- but when we closely on those 1-2 post members profiles we usually see that they have joined BRM not for this tourney only, most of them are members for more than a year...i guess they are what we could call "silent members". and they comply with all the rules we have set- applied for the club, provided brm & stars id...and have in mind that BRM added $50 to the prize-pool, surely they didn't add it only to those who have 100+ posts...imo they added it to all real BRM members. and it's not a freeroll- people will add to the prize-pool by paying the buy-in...though i have a feeling that some of them won't register when they see it's not a freeroll
then again i see your point- i understand that u wish for the best. hope to see u at the tourney
------------ Yeah , didn't look into it too much when I replied , also forgot the fact that it's a 1.10 buy-in tournament , so I guess more players mean more $ in the prizepool P.S : I hate those motherdonking russians , they're killing me.

Hi Pochui.
Been having a think about the tourney. I would like it to be 3000 starting stacks and 10 min blind starting with 15 - 30, don't know what you and others think. There are so many posts on this now I have lost track of what I have / have not read.
P.s if there are 3 + players in the hand with me when I get knocked out your decision on who gets the bounty will be final. Hope that's okay, but I don't want to have make that decision, I can imagine 3 donks going all-in with me with someone having 8/9 suited and knocking me out. You wait and see!!!
P.s.s Good luck to you in tourney you deserve some for organising this............

G'day Pouchui I have decided to once again be a BRM event sponsor. I want to help do my part to make the BRM Easter tournament a success. I have just transferred to you the amount of $10.00 USD. To be used in the following manner. First the sponsored prize pool portions will be like this...
1st place = $4.00 2nd place = $2.00 3rd place = $1.00 4th place = $0.50 5th place = $0.25
Yes I now that only adds up to $7.75.
The remaining $2.25 is to be used as a bounty on my own head.
It is to be collected by whomever actually takes me out of the tournament. If nobody manages to do so it will mean I have won the entire BRM Easter tournament. If this happens I will have the bounty returned to me as part of my 1st place winnings

No worries mate. Just so you know I plan on increasing my sponsorship level but this is what i can do today. I hope to double it and to increase my bounty as well. It will depend on my bankroll. We shall see.

very doable- we have only starting stacks, blinds and payout percentages/order to decide on. regarding blinds: 2 options imo- 10 min or 15 min blinds starting stack: 3000 or 5000 payout: i suggest top 20% paid. BRM $50 split for top 10 players in $5 lumps. Other donations paid using same top 20% payout structure.
would like to hear everyones opinion, especially those who sponsored the tourney or intend to.

no problem. just don't forget to "share the hand" on BOOM or twitter so i can look back at it in case i miss it. btw as i understand it- you will transfer the bounty yourself, i will just make the decision if necessary... i think the decision itself isn't that hard- 1st of all the players in the hand when you're knocked out must have enough chips to cover you, if they don't- it doesn't matter if they are in the hand or not. 2nd- if they have enough chips (same as you or more)- all of them share the bounty in equal lumps. dunno if u like this idea?

cool- it's gonna be the 1st time when we have 2 bounties in one tournament

sure- just don't forget to "share the hand" on BOOM or Twitter & drop me a link to that in case i miss the hand "live"...
