G'day pochui
I was just wondering how many people you think might actually sign up for and play the BRm Easter home game which we are all looking forward to playing. There does seem to be a lot of interest right now. What do you think, will we top 100 entrants?

i have no idea- there is a lot of interest, but i believe lots of people are actually thinking it's gonna be a freeroll or they will get an entry by joining the club etc. we had $1.10 tourneys before and i don't recall one which had more than 3 tables full. we'll see- this tourney is already breaking the record of biggest BRM home game prize-pool, also it's the 1st time we have 2 bounties in one tourney...who knows- maybe we'll break a few more records along the way

Hey Pochui, what was the outcome off the poll?? what wil lthe tournament be (rebuy,ko,normal) and what will the starting amount of chips be (hope 5K)..will there be points to earn for the leaderboard?? or is it just this tournament.... would U considder( if this goes well) for aweekly / or montly pokerevening with small buy in..Dont know if this was tried out before, but looks like a nice oppositte for the brm freeroll, as a buy in usally makes a diffrence and the army of donks will stay away. Dont want to give U a lot of extra work as U already do a lot for the BRM community .
Anyway I will be there with the easter tournament and am really looking forward to it.... hope to make a donation with in the next week ( completly Fckd up my ps bankroll, why does the gambler in me takes over when I am over 100 euro).
So melonmaster respect for ur labour and hope to see U on the tables

i recommend you check the first post of this thread from time to time- since it's always update with the latest info. shortcut: it's gonna be a freezout tourney (no rebuys/no addons), with 3000 starting stack & 10 min blinds. oh & there will be 2 tasty bounties...

no. yes we're not a part of BRM structure so no leaderboard points.

we had a regular schedule at the rigged place some time ago- usually we had 4 tourneys a week- 2 omaha & 2 nl holdem ones. buyins were $0.10 & $1.10 - it was fun while it lasted, but action dried out & tourneys naturally disappeared. now it seems that this club is responsible for 2 great tourneys (hope they will become traditional)- BRM Easter home game & BRM Christmas home game. i can arrange a tourney if u want- just provide the details & find the opposition...

ok- will be happy to have you on board as one of the sponsors of the BRM Easter home game

@Samtoace- go ahead @kingwayney - hmmm, good question: "how do you pay 1 dollar?", not exactly sure about it, but i strongly believe that with money. just a reminder- anyone who applied to the club, must also post their stars id in this thread to be allowed to join the club

Well mate I think I must agree with you that with enough money anything is possible. I would point to the example of the former US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy who ended up becoming Mrs. Onassis. I mean I watched a documentry about that dude once and he was one homely greek billionaire. So money had to have made him more attractive. I guess I need to really become rich or i will never find another women. I guess staying poor has its advantages after all

I have decided to increase my level of sponsorship. I want to really help do my part to make the BRM Easter tournament a success. I have just transferred to you the amount of $ 9.25 USD. To be used in the following manner. First the sponsored prize pool portions will be like this... 1st place = $4.00 + 1.00 = $ 5.00 2nd place = $2.00 +1.00 = $ 3.00 3rd place = $1.00 +1.00 = $ 2.00 4th place = $0.50 +0.50 = $ 1.00 5th place = $0.25 +0.75 = $ 1.00 Yes I now that only adds up to $4.75. The remaining $5.00 is to be added to the bounty on my own head. If I have done my math correctly this will bring my bounty up to $10.00 USD. I Just can't let people think that MarcWinz is a better bounty then I am It is to be collected by whomever actually takes me out of the tournament. If nobody manages to do so it will mean I have won the entire BRM Easter tournament. If this happens I will have the bounty returned to me as part of my 1st place winnings I believe this now brings my overall sponsorship up too $12.00 USD. with a $10.00 USD Bounty.
Be cool everyone and best of luck in the tournament.

G'day Pochui
I just had an two interesting ideas. 1. I was wondering how people would feel about bounty's being placed on other players. Marc & I have both placed bounty's on our own heads in order to help make the Easter tournament more exciting and build interest among the BRM members to play the tournament.
What do you all think? Would it be considered bad form to place bounty's on other players head's ? I would not want to offend anyone just build the prize pool and make things a little more interesting.
2. What do you think about a couple of staking offers for mobsters who would like to play in the Easter game but do not have the $1.10 buy in amount. I was thinking I would offer assistance to a couple player. Just trying to make this a great game by doing my little part/

@Ronin - regarding your ideas: 1) bounties- i can't speak for everyone else, but if u want to place a bounty on other people, i think you should just post how big bounty u want to place & how many of them: then we will just wait for people to respond- those who will want bounty to be placed on them will write so in this thread & voilà! if there is bigger interest than the nr. of bounties- we will pick randomly or some other way... 2) again it's your money, you call the shots, when we had $0.10 buy-in i offered such option, since i though thats not a lot of cash to risk, but i will not stake people with $1.10- i better buy myself a beer now if u want to do this- for the initiative: just figure out how many stakes u can afford & think about selection criteria, i believe you will get a lot of customers
thanks for the ideas- as always your contribution is excellent
