Sometimes I wish i could somehow electrocute the donk on the other side of my screen I know i know, where would you get money from if there were no donks, etc etc but what about the ones that get away?
Just before ( and i'm still steaming about it that's the reason for this rant) was sitting in this PL omaha table and this .... "creature" comes along and starts max raising EVERY SINGLE HAND. Someone would re-raise him and he would re-raise back... Ended up being all-in pre-flop several times with and like 10 5 Q 8 and similar s**t and sucking out trips and/or strainghts.
After he was already in everybody's nerves and with a $8 dollar stack with his brilliant play he writes: "Cya retards" and runs

You shouldn't be all in preflop on omaha... Even with the best hands preflop you still are a slight favorite. Always try to see the flop and then calculate your chances and outcome. I've lost so many times with AAxx preflop when I started to play PLO. Tried a different approach, not reraising with AAxx when it's not necessary... And lost less of those hands. Sometimes it's very hard to play AAxx them on PLO because PLO is a game where you go for maximum str8/flush and full house possibilities...

Typical donk behaviour if you ask me, nowadays i try to avoid them as much as possible...
In time i understand that their game can be beat but with a lot of frustration that would have an negative impact on the other tables that i have open.

That hand,5,8,T,Q is not so donky, but sure is not an all-in preflop.Played a lot of Omaha latelly, and the server seems to prefer the donk style, nothing to do than exit the table. After a withdraw, the server is serving all the sh..it possible. So rigged

Agree , thats the way to play omaha
postflop action is more important than preflop action
preflop action is only important when you are with less than 4 players
and remember bad beats are part of the game
lost today with a FH on the flop
I had 10 10 7 8
flop 10 4 4
opponent raised postflop, I potraised and he reraised to all in

You're trying to avoid them...If you're successful at that let me know cuz i almost always come around to some donk that is making me crazy and angry and yeah i'd destroy everything around me. If my computer is still working after that i go and play heads up with my friend for play money

The donk is a strange creature. when isolated is uniquely helpless and the natural prey of serious poker players. As they begin to congregate in groups they become increasingly dangerous until they reach a critical mass and the statistically improbable becomes routine.

Kumbaya... rest my friend, open the windows, breathe fresh air, take a look to the sky, see the future in a glance, smile, close the window, it's probably cold, we are still in cold days, get back to the PC, open a new table, that's the right thing to do!

MISTAKE Number 1......You have made it personal. Dont make poker personal. Its only a game which you should be able to lose as well as win. Dont let idiots wind you up cos you will lose more as a result. Turn the other cheek and get on with your own game.

suppose a regular (strong player) ,, has played for 5-6 hours and ran very, very good
let's say he won 300$ in those 5-6 hours on micro stakes...
Then before ending his session he could choose to play another 10$ on any particulair table and play like a superdonk/fish by going all inn each and every hand till he busts.. or win another quick 100 bucks.
this way people might think he's is a total rigtard and take notes on him..so they seek him the next time when they logged in...and then he's back bringing his A-game...
i'd say that's a lot of sand in the eyes of the players on that last table...
and it cost him only 3.3 % of his winnings that day + if he runs good playing donkeystyle he get's also nice fpp's for shoving several times and going to showdown..
i think even when you have such dude at your table you need more info on that person...
bye the way i had such player at my table last month on a 20$ cap table...shoving and reraising all-inn each and every hand...
he went from 10$ up to 130$ .made everybody at the table mad ,including myself after he beat my A-K suited with absolute air.. The good thing was, he did not leave the table ...and gave almost everything he won back ...some of it to me...after i'd decided i'dd call any of his shoves...whenever i hit a playable hand...
the money soon returned to me...and i told him ,it can't be sunday every day...just to ensure he''d keep on giving me action when i opened a pot..
