Poker sites offer these no deposit or 100% bonuses but ive been playing for a few months now and have only ever got 10$ in bonuses even after a second deposit,which now has it's own bonus pending.Don't know about other people's opinions but in mine these bonuses are just a scam and your'd have to deposit a huge amount of money and even then the expiry date on any deposit would probally lapse before you was eligible to get it all.
I am signed up with a poker site that is prob well known in poker circles but not so much by the general public, on a very well known network (I won't name it, don't want admin to get on the wrong side of me ).
Every week or so they send me a mail to say I have £1 waiting in my account to play on their slots. I always log in and spin it (usually only 2 or 3 spins) but always just bust.
Tonight I did the same but on the second spin hit £5.40 win. I contacted support, and was told the wager requirement was £1 and that I had wagered 80p already.
I played the extra 20p and wallah, money transferred to account to play on.
Free bank roll, admittedly small, on yet another site
pokerbonus's are in my opinion useless, lets just say you won a decent amount and you wish to cash-out well you wont be able to because you have met your wagering requirements
bonus's on the otherhand for casino' s makes much more sense

Haha, I've cleared 95% of my bonuses, generally a long time before they expire too.

no-depositbonusses are a way for the pokerrooms to attract players to their sites but most of all to
encourage players who wanna play some serious poker to get more value for their money put on such site..
suppose you go to a live-casino to play poker, i pressume you won't bring 10$ or 10euro but at least 100 or a couple of hundred $$/euro's and try to triple your investment or even better win some more in a single night of live-cashgames...
Now,instead of going out of your house ..anybody can play the same kind of game/stakes at home
deposit on top of your (example;titan poker 150 no-depositbonus)bonus a simillar amount of money and play poker for an evening,,
In this example you will 100% benefit from the no-depositbonus,which you would not get at any live-pokergame..so overall no-depositbonusses are very OK. pressuming that you last with your stack at least a couple hours and play a deasent number of hands..and would unlock most or even all of your bonus in that single night..
However,,many smallball players like to benefit from these bonusses ,but complain that is too hard too clear these bonusses,without investing a single dime...
That's like buying an economyclass flightticket and demand a royalclass seat in the plain and fly to their destination..
How much extra value you get from a depositbonus depends on the person who benefits from it and what his gameplan is.
To give another example ...pokerstars has a promocode ; STARS600 and if you use it you get a maximum bonus of 600$ on your first 3 deposits...so if your serious into playing online poker i suggest you deposit instead of 600 ,double the amount(1200$)and get full advantage of the bonus,without blowing your roll th first few days..
Instead, with such Bankroll and bonus on top you should easely be able to clear the whole amount and play break even for the 1200 you deposit...the 600 would be profit..(if you have any pokerskills/knowledge) With such aomount you should be able to play 2/4 $ cashgames instead of 1ct/2ct cashgames and clear the bonus much faster.. In most cases people wanna deposit less, more likely an amount of 25 or 50$ ,play all day and get busted the same day..and then start complaining that poker is rigged and no-depositbonusses are a scam,,because they would be to hard to clear...
I hope you got the picture ,by reading this post...i'm sure most people on this forum would agree whith what i wrote here..
So,,to give you simple advice: 1rst do your homework...learn all basics of the game and also
learn or try figure out which formats are best to play..where you know you got an edge over others..if that's sng's ,cashgames or MTT"s and on which site...
then make a plan and start playing...
If you have small expectations...don't deposit at all..take advantage of the no-depositbonusses available and enjoy some small pocketmoney poker..
Also need to note ,that once you depositted 3 small amounts...you will not maximaly benefit from the stars600 promtion or similar bonusses on other platforms and in your future pokercarreer you might regret that you had not depositted more or took full advantage of the offers you where initialy eligible for..because once you came to that point ,it's too late.
So decide before you act, whether you gonna be a recreational player for live or wanna take a shot at becoming semi-pro or even pro.

Nice one uhhh....i play only micro limits but i have cleared many bonuses...when playing at micro, you have to play at least 4 tables or more and don't rely on the bonus...rely on your pokers skills and game...you can earn points but you also have to win or you will get busted not clearing th bonus....GL

Absolutly right and I agree. if you really serious play poker, is better deposit with your own money ! even I know some mobster get really good winning after get NDB but not everyone like them even I ever give them back deposit bonus cause wagering requirement is impossible compare with 'my luck'

not at all. Deposit bonuses and reload bonuses and all other poker bonuses are not only most definitely "for real" they're an excellent source of Rakeback, I take every reload offer PKR throws at me, usually from $250-$600, used to always be $600 but they've gone a bit downhill.
Most poker sites bonuses work at around 30%-60% rakeback, there abouts.

Totally agree with you.I play on small stacks and I have deposited 15$ on PS.If I want to get my 100% bonus I have to earn 225 points on stars.It is unreal or you have to be super dedicated proficient player.For me it just made for Involving people and thier money

I'm only a micro stakes player but I've recently found a game where I'm profitable (just by a small margin but still on the plus side) and I have a few bonuses that I have to release within a month. I play DoN SnG's full time. I'm more profitable at cash games but I've grown tiered of them. I much more prefer the DoN's. Anyways, I'm up $1 from just the games. But since I also have released $1,5 in bonuses, I'm actually up $2,5. The bonuses represents 60% of my profits.

I have cleared most of my bonuses. Make sure you play when "happy hour" is running so you can earn points easier and complete your bonuses! And you should play at least at 0.05/0.10 blinds to get points fast!

The point of the sites is for you to get addict to the game and not to clear the bonus. If you have lot of money you dont need No Deposit bonus because you can make an account and clear the bonus of the site wich are clearly easier to achieve. No Deposit bonus are used to get more new costumers in my opinion.

pending bonuses are similar to orgasm achievement if u just tickle the nipple its gonna take a long time and come out in lil drips n drabs but if ur like me u will go in hard n deep and with little effort your host site will be jizzin bonuses left right and centre

i don't see how bonus can be harmful- you either clear them and make some extra free cash, or you don't clear them and just play regular poker with your deposit. either way you don't lose a penny due to the fact that you took deposit bonus. ndb are a different beast- you can't go wrong with them...

Well.. you shoud already know by this time that none is giving you anything for free. You never heard that the house always wins? It's common sense .. only a small percentage will be able to make it. I mean.. they give you what? 10$? You have to make a ridiculous amount of points to be able to release a small amount of money. Bankroll management says you need X amount of BI's to fight against variance. 10$ is hardly a big amount of BI's in any kind of real money game. So basicly you need to have a sick run to make it happen.. if you are really really lucky you can turn those 10$ into something more playable .. if you go against tilt and trying desperate moves to turn 10 into 100 or something.
So only a few people will be able to do that .. like 5% or something? And since you can't withdraw unless you make alot of points or money .. the money stays in the room anyways so it's a win win situation for the site. If the person loses it all and makes a deposit after even better for the house.
So it's basicly a nice way to play a few bucks for free and having the fun of trying to turn a no deposit bonus into a grinding machine (which is quite hard tbh).
