Posted by bullettooth1: Yeah I've got about 4.5k points now and was thinking about buying some $11 tourney tickets for 700 points each. I think that would be the best option Thanks mate
G'day mate
I think you have a good plan there for your fpp's. That will give you even more chance to increase your bankroll. Think how sweet it will be if you can run deep in one of them $11 tournaments.

$50 of instant cash does sound nice but I think playing 6 or 7 $11 tourneys will be the better option as I wouldn't normally be able to afford to play in that high a buy in. So getting in them for pretty much just rakeback is quite good. Plus I will essentially be getting t$66 for just less points than I would need to spend to get $50. Thanks for the link tho appreciate it

i don't know if playing micro stakes floats ur boat anymore but I would use those points for entries in satellites instead. For instance, 700 points u say its enough to buy a $11 dollar ticket right? ( i didn't go and check too lazy lol) . so instead of spending them directly u could buy-in for satelites for the $3.30 re-buy which are only 10 points each. 700 points = 70 tourneys so u only have to get itm in 4 of them to pay up more then the direct $11 dollar. 4 out of 70 seems quite doable. What are your thoughts here?
can see this as ROI both ways...tend to play more cash than tourney myself. So a $50 boost to a roll and T$ are earnings, either way you come out of this with something. Depending on the end roll, might be inclined to cash 1 and try to hit another, or just bank it and go from there. That's probably fine for a cash player...tourney players use other strategies. Like cashing out from here....see it as my oops fund. As long as the points support it...can see including the banked roll as part of my end roll for the session. GL with your tourneys

That's a very good idea and definitely worth it but I'm seeing these points as a treat for me to play a few bigger tourneys. Kind of a present to myself for finishing the goal that I set myself I might go down that route with all the leftover points I will have after buying those 6 $11 tickets. Thanks for your input really appreciate it

I used to only play cash games a couple years ago so I would of went down that route before but now I definitely prefer mtt's and I only tend to play cash games (well zoom) to clear bonuses or to get my buy ins back from the tourneys I played if I didn't cash in them. Good luck on the felts
------------ Oh and I only have 48 points to get now so will be done in the morning, no doubt!

thanks Mober and thanks for taking part. You nearly had it, unlucky! If i get a good result in one of the tourneys i play i might do it again but only if i get enough to go up a level. don't really fancy doing it again on the NL10 tables (too much effort) lol

Congrats to Mober! He deserves it, he's a nice mobster And you bullettooth1, it seems you have exceeded your expectations! Reading this thread from the begining we can see that you commented someone's post that was expecting you would get more than $200 as too high for what you thought you could achieve, but it seems he was right, you really did more than $200, a lot more! Good job, Goldenbullettooth1
