hey brmers,
Just won a ticket by sattelite for the hot 16,50. Enter the tournament a bit later as the sat wasnt finnished, first three hands were garbage. 4th hand AA.... b4 me a raise to 120 (b=30) and another guy 3bets to 280, I 4bet to 560 , 1st raiser folds, the other one goes allin......I start laughing when I see His hand... A4 off suit I win the hand and doubled up my stack, have not played a hand since am in 148 th place now, with a nice bit of overstack when looking at average. price money is on 34 K now and rising as late reg is still open.

It always good to double up the stack at the beggining. It gives you time to wait for better hands. How much is the first prize???? How many players cash????

got aces again, a player with 2200 stack shoves , I reraise all in..(5400) and big stack calls aswell... little stack shows As 10s big stack JJ ...flop 6 10 3 turn Q river another 10...bummer... still win some points on 640 stack now hand after get AK shortstack pushes , I call shows A 10 ( not again) and I win 8500 stack now.
First place 8.2K 450 places paid...would be nice.... am in 328th position now.

second break ... still no more hands...have to up my range as its a turbo, 775 people left, 450 paid am on 8.5 k stack now average is 13 k....will strt getting hands soon I hope.... my stats are brilliannt but bit low for turbo ( 15 %)...but atleast I won all my pots and took 5 without showing...here we go again

Just double your stack and your are fighting again! what a bad beat that hand against A10 but if you want to win an MTT you have to receive bad beats and give too

Just trippeld my stack with 77....against 33 and 55..... have 21 K now average 20 k stack....so goes pretty good....490 people left... almost in the money...
I'm not currently in that tourney today but I managed to go up till 4th place about 2 month ago. Was a nice prizepool think it paid me about 1600$ for a small 16$ investment. As you said you were doing, patience is the key in those big tourney. Took me about 8 hours to get to the final table but it totally worth it

just flew out...bad beat ... 348th place 29,90 , not bad as i only paid 5dollar for the sat. Lost with Ad Qd against J 10 off...was good call bad resul;t...these things happen...still good result as bankroll is going up , instead of down

Congrats for winning and hope next time you'll hit the FT and win it how much time you have played? you won $25 from $5, hope you'll win again and again minimum this amount
Still, good job and congrats how many people where registered in the tourney that time? guess it's a few thousands so comming up to the 348th place is pretty good.
I was also woundering... where was that 5$ qualifier that allow you to get this ticket? and what kind of tourney was it? a max f player for 1 ticket or no max and big number of ticket givaway?

Well done mies. Although it is sad when you lost being already in the money places you got a good prize considering you invest just 5 bucks.
I'm sure you will get a bigger prize the next tournament!

Thanx all off U for the comments...
The sattelite was a hyperturbo tournament with 60+ entries and a ticket for the first 20....was not hard at all to Quallify , think I only played ( and won) two hands.
In a same kind of sattelite I just won a ticket to the 6 max L1 SCOOP (27dollar) with a first price of 57 K........ that would be welcome.... trough these sattelites I also usually quallify rfor the sunday storm.
There are many people who never look at the sattelite tourneys, but regulary on stars that there are not that many entrents and is it is this way alot cheaper to get urself into a more expensive tournament..... for all normal scheduled tournaments they have sattelites, sometimes with a buy in of just 22 cents
