2 weeks ago i won whit an freeroll,a ticket for round 2,the Royal Adventure Monaco tourney,which was only for Dutch players,whit that winning ticket i wrote myselfs in for the round2 last sunday,where the last 5 players could win a ticket worth 82 euro's,i also ended at place 1 and suddenly i played for 1 of the 2 full packaged for 2 side events worth 660 euro,a whole day whit the Dutch Pro players,400 euro pocket money,and 1 day full whit advice off those pro's After 2 hours and 45 minutes i fanly reach the final table,as short stack,but whit a few good hands i made it to the last 4 persons in the tourney,before the break i had position 1,whit a stack off 30.000 +. After the break i get AK suited and went all in,1 caller who also won the hand on the turn,the blind were at that time 1500/3000,after i lostthat hand i had 4,5 BB left and went all in whit KK,whit that hand i could play 1 player out,but i thought wrong he called me whit A2 off suited,and my dream to win an complete packaged for Monaco was over and out,when i lost the hand again by the ace on the turn,again!!! Today ,1 week later i'm still pissed,and i hope that after writing this thread,i can clear my head for other important tourney's ! i know thats poker,but its also sick to lose a game whit the bestcards in poker..........it was close,but still much 2 far

Wow man ... I mean yeah it's a very standard situation , KK < Ax .. happens all the time.. but then again I can only imagine how it felt since it was such a nice prize you were playing for !! I feel sorry for you man .. who knows, maybe next time

All in all,...you can be proud that you did so well,...getting a first followed by a fourth place in the 2 tourneys is a very good run...considering the players you were playing against were likely pretty good at poker,....and not the run of the mill idiots you find in freerolls and low buy in games....
It would have been nice,....but give it a few days and you'll get over it....
