Hey everyone, hope you're doing well with the course Still a big problem to me, ( and a lot of other players I think.) is TILT. You lose a big hand and start to play bad because you want to win the money back, or just because you are SO up about it.
It couls also be because you've been on a roll all night, and you get that feeling that every pots belongs to you I see it as a sort of tilt too haha
So what do you guys do to counter-act this? I find clicking the sit-out button while a big hand is being played to work. 10min. break after a big hand, wether you won or lost. Just to get your adrenaline down
I'm honest when I say I'm very TILT-sensitive so what do you guys do to prevent this?

Me as a smoker what i do is maybe obvious, but as im not allowed to smoke at home and i dont wanna go out every time i im in the risk starting to tilt. I just open more tables, that works very good against tilting. Im very TILT-sensivitive too :x
look: when u get 22 on the hand and calling a single raise (1st fault) dont hitting the set. 2 calling the flop bet 2/3 pot size (second fault)
then 2 appears and river 4th 2 appears... bingo u got quads and probably the nuts but that would have benn played wrongest way ever...
the probability of getting those lucky nuts is very very low...
in my case when i recognize i tilted 1 stack down or 2 stacks... than i quit poker and playing spawn defense (war craft or star carft) up to 1 hour or 2 and then my aggression is away and i can start playing mathematically with a cool brain.

If im still in a gamble rush and tilting there is one place where that tilt doesnt count. BINGO. All sounds and media on, including chat. In half an hour of bingo with all effects turned on i have a big smile over my face. Works every time. Those smileys, forgive me if i offend someone, and music etc... so... pink. LOL.

Stopping the play isn't always the best solution. You have to think and analyse the situation. For example, you don't want to leave the table when you know the table is fishy. Just say yourself that poker is also a game of luck and statistics, you will play better than if you moaned about the bad beat.
i totaly agree with logix..poker is an ability game but is also a game based on luck...and you can play very well but lost in the same time all your chips.
