Hey guys,
Anyone else play the PS open Skill league tourneys on here ?
They have a promotion Called the BigBang Tourney where they award those who finish in the top 400 in three consecutive tourneys you'll receive a ticket to there monthly 5000$.
From what I hear on the PokerSchool Forum that only a couple of hundred players qualify. Not a bad chance to cash with so few runners qualifying.
I just now hit my third in a row. All 3 over the past two days. Pretty good showing. Ill be in the top 400 of the league this month out of a Total of 108851 runners.
Good luck to all who grind away in these tourneys. Takes a lot of self control and good solid poker to last in these things.
Yeah the PS Open school is a pretty good way to earn money. I also heard about the $5000 for players who finished in top 400 in three in a row. You also compete for places on the leaderboard where you also will earn/get money for good game. And you will have the money tranfered directly to your account

Guess its not easy to get under the first 400 players 3 times in a row with so many donkeys in these. Grats to you for making it. I played 5 qualifiers this month and got itm 4 times. Gave me enough points, so I will be playing the premier league next month.

I play these though havent played for a week or so. The last one I played I came in top 400 so only two more to go to get into the Big Bang tourney. Its actually quite good in the opens cos you have to play smart to get anywhere near top 400, so learning all the time.

A lot depends on the time of day that you play. Sometimes the freeroll is filled with bingo players and you will spend the first half hour or more just folding until yu get something worth taking a chance on. Other times there a more players with real skills and it is a much more enjoyable experience.
