Full Tilt's remission process for US players could take a lot longer than anticipated according to various reports. After numerous attempts to obtain a definitive date from the claims administrator, Garden City Group, forum poster "Schlucky1" was finally given a tentative timeframe by Lorrie Stall. Speaking on behalf of the administrators, Stall suggested that it could take between one and two years for the money to be paid back to US players. Looking into the issue further, Pokerfuse obtained an email from the GCG which explained they are currently reviewing "the data in the possession of Full Tilt Poker to determine how claims should be calculated".

Thats way too long, to get their money back. They will have to return their money with interest too, if they want to be fare. After all im pretty sure that the whole amount of US money, if it is not being used in some way, it gains interest no matter what.

That is waay to long I need all the US players back because most of them are bigger donks than me. So they make me look better, and i have more of a chance of winning with them.
that's so long time to wait for them. Don't think a lot of them are gonna be back, those who had moey disapear with full tilt crash are probably just waiting for it to be unlocked so that they can cash it out and go elsewhere. Think that major part of old ftp player lost faith totally in that software and won't be back wich is so understandable

i think full tilt have a secret plan here: they want to wait until dollar loses value & become just as useful as Malawian kwacha...then they will launch a "repayment party" and pay off all of the cash they owe...players will even get a free chance to pick in what currency they want to get their money back: dollar or kwacha

Personally I think the whole issue is based on the ability for FT to become financially capable of paying back the U.S. players. I think the estimated time frame is actually a calculation which is a forecast on profits taken in based on the current player status. Meaning if FT currently has 100,000 player accounts that are active it will take an estimated 1 to 2 years to generate funds to pay the U.S. players back. If anyone thinks that the U.S. players with money in their FT accounts is just sitting in the account stable they're wrong. This money is being used, moved, invested, etc. to ensure the site survives with the level of active players it (FT) has presently. When this stabilizes and FT is well on their way to being at the top again U.S. players will start receiving their monies or what I think, will be allowed to play again so they stay or some of them stay with the site.

Wasnt in the agreement that Poker Stars will also give the money to DOJ for the US players to get paid? And then DOJ was responsible for returning the money to the US players? Or i am mistaken with this.
