I won tickets to micro millions events 1+2 but am unsure whether to unregister for the money because they are both rebuys. One is 11c the other is $1 but if i play them i'm not planning on rebuying or adding on so don't know if its worth playing them or to change it for money. I could make alot from playing them but they start at 5 and 6pm and im up for 5am and expect them to go on for 7+hrs.

Since they r both rebuy i would say play the 11c one like a donkey and maybe ull run deep... well not totally like a donkey ( no need for 62os and all that crap but loose just the same) and if u don't who cares for 11c lol. The dollar one i wouldn't play. Use it to satellite to a bigger one if you want but don't trow it away in a rebuy tourney.
I'm not sure you can unregister for the money, if you won tickets... I thought that unregistering would simply get you the ticket back, which expires when the event is over?
I'd say just play them a little tighter than the rest of the table (pay attention to who is shoving a lot just to get a big stack, and is willing to rebuy a few times to do it, and exploit that easy money, when you're in position with a good hand). Once you get a decent stack play tight until rebuy period is over.
I've used this for the $100K freeroll on stars in the last few days (got to place 52 of about 20000, and 227 of about 20000, withour rebuying, or adding on).
Btw, rebuy tournaments offer the best value, since you don't pay rake/fee for rebuys and add ons.

Good reply marqis, yeah i got to about 80th the other day in a 100k. I know its better value but it also goes on longer, which is not good for me being up at 5. I could just do a nighter if i do get far, i don't know if i wanna do that to myself though. Yeah you can unregister for tournament money which is essentially a ticket you can use in any sitngo or tourney of that value, it said on an email.
Playing poker while tired is usually not a good thing. So I would say unregister for the "money", then play when you know you have enough time ahead of you...
For 11 cents, I would open shove from word go. If you get lucky and get doubled up then play as you normally do. If you lose, well what have you lost.
And not being funny, its an 11 cents rebuy.. are you trying to tell me you can't get hold of say $10 to deposit and play with. I would spend at least $3 just trying to get a decent stack, if it fails you've lost nothing. If you hit big and get a stack then you can maybe make the money.

If you dont plan to rebuy or addon it is useless to participate in the mtts, you said it so yourself!
If you just want to have fun go for it.
If you unregister you get 1.11 T/$ which you can sell or use it for other tourneys like sunday million etc where you might have an edge or that the field is smaller etc..You can also use them for other micro events other than the first 2, where you do not have a schedule problem!

Yeh ive got $25 on it just cba getting involved with about 10 rebuys if i can't stay up until the FT.
------------ To be honest i only won both of the tickets because i was tired and on tilt and didnt want to waste real money so decided to waste my FPPs on the sitngo sats

Not a significant amount there to pose a dilemma. Really doesnt worth unregistering. The only reason you should do that, is, if you cant stay up till late as you say.

Sleep later and play later so you don't have to worry about how long they go on. Or, just hang tuff and stay up until they're over. Besides you'd only be in it that long if your doing well which would be a good thing.

It always the same with rebuy torneys...
You can play them profitable by using no rebuy at all. observe players who do several rebuys and go all-in with not-premium hands and use that info.
If necessarry you can do an add-on, this is cheaper than a rebuy and has more value
rebuy : you pay to restart with the beginner stack which is lower than average
add-on : you have past the first hour of the torney and pay to get more chips (if you are shortstack) so you can play poker and avoid the all-in game.

Good advice. Makes it possible to play a rebuy tourney, like it should be played, without touching ones own bankroll. Playing a rebuy without being able to rebuy makes no sense to me.
