Recently we have been investigating allegations of unfair play at UltimateBet. After a lengthy and time-consuming investigation, we have concluded that unfair play did occur, and that you have been a victim of fraudulent activity.
Your accout has been refunded for any losses against accounts associated with unfair play. If a particular account ever used an unfair advantage, even for a single hand, we are crediting all net losses for all hands ever played with that account.
“Net loss” is the sum of the money that you lost to the accounts in question minus the sum of the money you won from them. On this basis, we have calculated that you are entitled to a refund in the amount of $2800. all i can say is WOW... first of all i didnt even know there was an investigation going on cause i was never told and secondly no bloody wonder i cant win if people could see my whole cards!!
it doesnt say thay could see your hole cards, it just says fradulent activity
it is very hard to stop people from colluding at online poker, so it could be a case of this as opposed to a major security lapse like someone hacking the system

If you go to the website it explains it there. The players who were cheating was previous emplaoyees of UB and had some way of seeing whole cards.. i find it all abit of a farce to be honest... especially since i wasnt notified of any investigation or anythng.

bakera, do you play a lot on UB? And what stakes do you play?
I used to play a lot on UB till i had a problem with them closing my account a couple of months back over a dispute of $50 and it turns out they owe me nearly 3k lol I used to vary what stakes i played on gene but it was the high stake games now and again where the cheating took place.

I don't think they could see your hole cards I would suppose that it might be a few friends sitting at the same table, communicating with eachother on the phone/messenger to let the other guys know what cards they had, so their odds of making the right calls would increase alot.

No it says they used to work for UB before the new owners took over and had some loophole where they COULD see hole cards.. or thats what im led to believe by UB

I would suppose that it might be a few friends sitting at the same table, communicating with eachother on the phone/messenger to let the other guys know what cards they had, so their odds of making the right calls would increase alot.
