I use my nickname on pretty much all sites**. It comes from a soft toy Elephant* I was given when my backside was no bigger than a shirt button, I am a senior citizen now, which gives you some idea of how old he is. I still have him and what with his being very ancient and an Elephant he is obviously very wise. When I opened my first p0ker account I thought it would be a good omen to use his name and snarf some of his wisdom.
Problem is that though he may be wise, he's cr@p at p0ker, which goes a long way to explaining my abysmal p0ker form.
The name came about because my parents and elder siblings couldn't agree on a name for him. They tell me that arguments went on for some time until my Mum said "The poor kid is getting confused by us all using different names for his toy, so until we can all agree why don't we call him 'Henry' for a minute?" He's been 'Henry For A Minute' ever since.
* Because he is a soft toy he is hairy which makes him think he's a Mammoth but that's a whole different story.
** The only cases where this doesn't apply is retarded sites that relaunch themselves (bf I'm talking to you!) and when you re-register, as they ask, you get the "That name is already taken" message. So I use a variation for those sites. That also applies to some sites that all use the same back-end (e.g. MicroGaming??? Haven't used them for yonks so can't remember if that's the correct name.) where they don't allow the same name on different sites because they all use the same database so you get the 'name in use' rubbish there as well.

My nickname is always paulparadiis. It`s actually a really weird and stupid story. When I was like 16 or something I had a friend called Paul, who was a big fan of Johhny Depp. Johnnys wife is Vanessa Paradise. Paradise in Estonian is paradiis. So i started teasing him as paulparadiis and for some reason I started using it as my nickname everywhere. Lol, it`s so stupid.

There's something odd about how my name is interpreted depending on where in the world folks come from...
People from North America, or England, or any of the primarily English speaking countries will use the short form 'Demo' or 'demo' when communicating at the tables....
BUT
...folks from Eastern Europe or South America, or non English speaking countries refer to it as 'demoda'...!
THAT sounds like a name for an evil spirit or demon to me,....or maybe a dragon or something...
