i officially announce "voting is closed"!!! and what do you now- it's a fcukin tie 10 votes a piece for august 17th & august 31st...oh right, lets move to the deciding phase- now what want to hear is the verdict of our sponsors/donors or those who intend to donate until the start of tourney - just put in as post stating: august 17th or august 31st...i think a couple of days or so will be enough in case of another tie i'll just take all the money and spend it on the tables myself

G'day mate
Ok screw it. I say let's just kick this pig into high gear and play it on the 17th.
Just for the record I actually voted to play it on the 31st, but lets just have a good time on the 17th.

Posted by RoninHarper: pochui I have already registered for the game on the 17th.
What do you think about also having one on the 31st?
I'm thinking I might just make another cash donation and turn the open into a double header.
dunno - doubt that we would have a lot of donations besides yours, i think we need to take a larger break and place it somewhere between "Ronin's Open" & "Christmas Homegame"...what u think?

thanks mies - but better just buy yourself a beer i have enough money, just that i know i'm a sh1tty poker player & therefore i don't see the point of "investing" my cash into poker. mostly i play +ev freerolls or take part in some promos (like getting a free ticket for deposit/ ndb etc.)
thanks again, really happy to see such positive mobsters like you on the forum

sure, i'll be there with my regular 26off playing style (similar to a very drunk russian)
Hey dudes now it suddenly struck me- we haven't talked about how donations should be used: easiest method is to stick to the same payout structure as the tourney itself (top 20% paid) -and use same percentages for paying out cash from donations...what u all think?

No worries mate. I got the perfect solution. We will play "Ronin's Open" on the 17th with the 20% payout structure people seem to like.
Announcing ..... " Ronin's Monster Bash " this epic event will be held on Oct 31st. Halloween will once again be a sugar fiends delight. Made extra smurfy by playing a great game of poker with fellow mobsters What do you think? Do you want to host it pochui or shall I resurrect Ronin’s Renegades? Be cool and best of luck at the tables mates.

Keep them coming mate.
17th is good for me as I get paid a few days before so I can deposit on Stars and give some of it to the torny and the rest I can save for these home game buy-ings.

sweet II - support the idea, not sure about the date...prolly a few mobsters will be celebrating halloween by going somewhere (like i might end up in a club hunting for some flesh to fcuk with, ooops i meant looking for an intellectual female to have a brain cell to brain cell conversation about the practices of using herbicides while growing weed indoors)... so to sum up - halloween is a great occasion, and a dedicated homegame might be a hit, but i think tourney should take place sometime before/after the halloween...i might be wrong though, what u think...other mobsters, your ideas?

i can if needed
