Secondly: want to thank everyone who showed up and gave their best, was a great tourney, level of play was high, and what is most important- atmosphere was awesome, love playing brm homegames, they are a fresh breath of air after the "fcuk's and suck's" @the regular tourneys Big Smile .

Of course a special thanks goes to Ronin Harper, who started this tourney (with the idea & with the financial backing) - great job Ronin Thumbs Up

These types of games are so much more fun than any others, since you're familiar with almost everyone.

Maybe we should have compiled a list on who's who; e.g. I only found out who BlaqPoeet was after it all finished.

Thanks Ronin for the initiative, and Pochui for managing it! And also to all the donators!

One thing that was sort of new for me were the bounties. I had some opportunities with mediocre hands to call an all in pre flop, but decided to fold. I think that might have been a mistake, since the $5 prize would make the call +EV, even though I was almost certain to have a worse hand.
In one instance losing the hand would not even have crippled my stack too bad.

Any insights on this anyone?

Hi everyone! I'm seeing this today for the first time, i've been on vacations and didn't take enough atention to BRM forum contents. I don't even remember very well about the last time i commented here Sad I'm now a busier professional and that has its cons, but it's good to see that people are still gathering efforts to join and make nice events. I hope i can join one of the next.

In my defense, this is not how I usually play this. I don't like my limp, and my reraise cost me, I should have gotten another bet out of you there...
It's just in the Christmas home game I started out way too loose aggressive, leading to an early exit. This time I decided to play it a little safer, and get a better feel for the dynamics of the game first.

Congratulation to all the winners, especially to yblod - I know who to stay away from next game...
