Hi Mobsters,
After being confronted with my nightmare hand again ( see hands u regret thread) and reading how unlucky some of us are at times, I think its time to also see that there is another side .......
Occasionally we are on the other side of the bad beat, we all have been lucky at times. Atm I am playing the 2.70 knockout on stars and after I lost some stack in the second hand with 10 10.
I got 3 3 and 3x blinds raise and 1 caller so I limp for 150....but look at it urself. The first went allinn on the turn....... I tought I was ahead and called.... then the river struck...

I got trapped by AA last night with my A9s and I caught a third 9 on the river after an all in call. even apologized to the guy who lost with AA as it was too sick.

As I wrote on other thread, I had my first "too lucky hand" this week. It actually annoyed me to win this hand, because I felt for the other guy and I thought it was too sick:
Went all in with A8 against an AK. Flop went 2K7 and I knew I lost the hand and the game. Then came 8 on the turn and another 8 on the river. Sick. If I've been on the other side I would've hate the game and the site
I had exactly the same situation happen to me in the daily dollar on FTP. I had 77. Flop came over A K 7. Two players folded to my bet, the third shoved all in so I snap called thinking I have him screwed. He turns over AA. My heart sunk thinking I was stuffed, only for me to hit the case 7 on the river.. I went on to finish 3rd for $590.

lmfao - great hand, i bet it shows all of your talent at poker, awesome post flop capabilities, great reads on your opponents, perfect poker face...oh and "small bit" of luck btw i like to see a thread where instead of bad beats people are encouraged to show "good beats" +1, epic thread

Losing a set to a higher set is a regular for me. Happens to me on a daily basis. Just one of those things that I learned to expect, especially against Russian players.
Still, whenever I get a set it's an automatic all-in (or trap) - I refuse to believe that my set is not the nuts. Hurts me again and again (of course most sets do make me a winner)
yeah i have it sometimes my 3 of a kind cracked by a higher one but it happens i wasn't mad when i lost that hand i was like oh i was trappedO.o while i was trying to trap him

Nice one ........ from 1 dollar to 590....... congratz man.... and it also shows my point...sometimes U are on the other side of the Bad Beat...

that was the point indeed for this thread.....showing that for every bad beat .....there is another side
Nobody only has bad beats in poker, because if U did , U better give up on poker ( bridge is a nice hobby to )
