Hello mobsters,
First of all, I do not know much of computers and their programms, so please take that in considdering if U reply to my question.
Been hearing a lot of positive sounds from people using poker software. Now I was wondering if they also have user friendly ( read Noob friendly) software. I think it could give me an extra advantage, but as said I have no expertise at this subject.

Poker Tracker 4 the best one IMO. Try the free trial on the website for 30 days and it is very easy to use, but if not there is a detailed guide on the same website.

Tracking software is legal, it only tracks stats of people you play and of course yours. It gives you an advantage too as you will know which players are fish, TAG etc and of course what cards they like to play ect. Well worth getting it but the price is quite big.

It will help you mate trust. Just try the trial and see how it goes. I only have 12 days left so I have to make a decision whether to buy it full, but I cant play without it now.
Posted by arrow-knee-: does it also tell you winning percentages saying e.g you get KK flop A92 then the pprogram says 30% or somehing like thatt?
No, these programs read the hand history, so they only see the hand after it's finished.
In HEM2 you can see the percentages on the different streets, when you review the hand later on.
There is other software that does what you want, but I don't remember what they are called, or if they are legal. Also I'm not sure on how useful these would be.
It might be useful if HEM2 could do that, since HEM2 already knows something about the range of your opponents, and could calculate how strong your hand is compared to their range.
I don't believe something like that exists (yet).
That would be a huge advantage; but I suppose that would reduce you to a bot, and certainly would be illegal...
no nothing illegal just a quick real time calculating program how much chance u have to win with the cards you have and the cards on the table cause if theres not maybe i should talk to my friend bout making one im very new in c++ but he isn't XD
ofc a existing one will always be better made xD so anyone

Pokerstove for probability etc.
HEM/PT 4 for tracking your hands and opponents too, use of HUD etc, at first you will be overwhelmed but once you used to it and use the stats you'll get an edge. They have trial if you want a free one, try FPDB.
Then there are others, ICM, HEM resources for SNG. Just Google it you will get most info out there!!

I used to use Hold em manager a couple of years back. I don`t play cash games anymore, but IMO if you play cash, you gotta have it. It gives you an enormous advantage. I think i bought it for like 100$ or something. Definitley worth the price.

Ok Guys,
Thank U for all the info, I will start reading a bit more on the net, then I will make a choice and take a trialversion. Will keep U all informed, if the program and me will get along......
@paulparadiis U say that if u play cash games U realy need it. Thing is I do play cashgames, but not online. Online I only play only mtt's and SNG's, as online cashgames costed me a sh1tload of money in the past,
Therefor I decided a while ago not to play them online. In live cash games U see ur oponent and receive so much extra info, just by looking and listening.
So my question, are these programms usefull if U only play mtt's and sng's??

For those that think that these software advice you on taking a decision are wrong, i mean the only software that i know it offers this is holdemindicator...
Both HEM and PT simply read your HH and make statistics with that data.
