PokerStars account frozen because of someone else issues  0
I have an account with PokerStars just few months ago. I know some other players who also have account with PokerStars. We often gather together to my place, a boarding house with more than 10 tenants, to play Pokertars and sharing experience to each others. we have about 6 different computers that belong to this boarding house. Therefore we sometimes share these computers. Resulting in our accounts had been frozen because PokerStars suspicious our accounts were operated by one person. Then I had to send my Photo Id to support so my account can be reinstated. But not too long, just one week later, now my account is frozen again because one of member in our group has an outstanding issues with PokerStars. I have contacted this member and know that this outstanding issue is because he was using his wife master card to funding his account, now he had to validate this credit card to PokerStars...
I fell that I were treated very unfair, my account been frozen just because of knowing someone who have some issues with PokerStars.
I searching for assistant, anyone who have any idea what I should do, or who I should contact to settle this matter since PokerStars Support & Security won't help me.
Many thanks in advance!

If you owe money too site or use a credit card not under your name then of course they will freeze your account that's just common sense Tongue Tongue

As a general rule even if more players have the same IP they usually ban all and allow just one to play...

Now i'm not sure about the other problems but only the IP problem is serious enough to freeze an account.

Just follow the rules and I will be good, if you did not do anything wrong I dont think they will close your account forever, they might close it temporarily just in case, to investigate.

Should be fine, and read the rules first, also be careful with other people, like whats happening, their issues is getting mixed up to you!

yea I had the same problem, a friend of mine owed stars $80.00, they froze my account and my wifes daughters account, finally I contacted them and paid the money myself, then they reopened my account, I have also collected the $80.00 back, like I told them it would be easier for me to collect it then them.

You all should have different outgoing IP ADDRESS , every user will play on the same pc all the time , whitout changing a pc. Then u can play all 6 players on same place , because Pokerstars will se that u have different IP addreses , and they will let u play otherwise u'll be banned , or account locked.

My provider releases 3 ips addresses to us, so I could get a switch and launch 3 computers with 3 accounts. I don't though, its bad enough my wife gets mad at me for playing on 1 Aww crap!

Some of us had more than one account before. But after a photo Id was requested by PokerStars, now everyone of us have only one account each.

We live in a boarding house. There are more than 10 tenants at a time, most of us had account with PockerStars, but only 5 are serious players, and there are 6 different computers in the reading room. Anyone including visitors can access to them. I have no control over theses computers. Using the same IP address can not be avoid unless I need to purchase my own computer.
I never been told that we can not sharing computer to play PokerStars, even we live in the same house? So every PokerStars player have to buy their own computer?

Thanks for the advice. We may have to arrange for each of us just play on one computer at all time. Since we have 5 serious players while having 6 computers. The only problem is we can not stop visitors using these computer if they are available.

So this is real problem, cause we all share computers. I need to buy one for my own.

In Australia husband and wife use the same credit card is quite common. My wife used my credit card to shop online all the time, as long as spending within our budget.
