how much correctly I played the hand? maximum value or not?
well I would have played it different tbh you bet on the flop which you should never do when you got quads on the flop, for the same reason no1 would have called and you would have got nothing for it in situations like this you need to trap the opponent when you got the nuts
and in this situation I would have checked on the river because your opponent has already raised you on the flop and bet on the turn so I don't think he would have checked behind your check, very risky I know but o so effectiv (cfr hansens quads vs negreanus high full house)
Nice flop of course! Did it happen in a HORSE game or just Limit Hold'em? Anyway nice hand and I think I would also have played it the same way you did

people will call down with anything in holdem, especially if they are interested in the hand, i think betting the flop was right, but you only get to check raise one street usually in in limit so i would have check raised the turn and then bet the river, people will still call with the majority of the hands they reraised the flop and then bet the turn so all you can concievably have missed was one big bet,
if this was no limit then it would have to be played more passively because any bet shows much more strength

I wrote out a long tacti on how to maximise money from quads, but realsed you said limit holdem, therefore i think checking the flop would have caused him the raise assuming has a good kicker and another overcard The fact you bet in early position on thre flop may have prevented him from trying to continue to reraise you on the turn and river, as it gives the impression of a much stronger hand than somebody who bets in late position
