I played a satelite 95 people, 10seats to main event. I was 7th with 12 people left, got AA on the button, early position chipleader raises 30% of my stack....... Everybody folds than it was up to me.....
I'm a little bit ashamed to say i fold
Tourney went on and good thing i was with last 10 and got my seat In main event i got in 23th position and won $127,50

First congratz! I never fold AA preflop but Im thinking I should, cuz these Aces always take me out when I am nearly final table etc. I played a 180 ppl sng once on stars, 12 ppl left and I picked up aces. Guy before went allin with AJo, ofc he got his straight. Well, many times aces tooked me out But its not correct to fold them preflop I think? Depends..

tournament i might fold everything preflop (in the end i always think "next time" and bubble when it comes to decisions like this LOL); after all AA is just a pair.
cashgame i doubt i would ever fold AA, except there is a very expensive multiway pot to play or something like that.
last time i actually folded aces i was just too long in my bathroom during a tourney break
(you know that feeling of returning to your screen, seeing aces and realizing they got folded 30 seconds ago? thats just uncomparable... )

I think you did wrong to fold thier (congrats on position) he was big stack im quite sure he would have folded an all in as risking his stack would be pointless at this stage, however if you were up against a small stack then you should fold. I have folded many AA when the risk is not worth the reward.
i never fold AA preflop. in your position I think its mistake to fold AA. if you must play against 3-4 or more people it is posible to fold AA. But if you have oportunity to play agains only one, I think AA must be pleyed!
