i think that was played fine.. U should cbet when u 3bet preflop and turn was good barrelling card for u. u was just unlucky u were playing vs calling station

Man....that was a serious bad bluff... I would even think it looks like a case of chasing that ace or king,...which in my mind is always a foolish thing to do.
A K is powerfull,...but I keep hearing what I saw Daniel Negraneau say once...
"What's Ace King...? That's not a hand!"
....and that hurts too,...getting clobbered by a pair of 5s...

Yea, but the question is: Was it worth to make a new thread about it ? Should we now talk long about c-bet, when we R holding AK ? What is so interesting in that particular hand to write about ? Hero didn't get connection with community cards and his opponent did....that's it, end of story !!!

This was a good thread why are you so negative mascona... are you saying that since there is no A or K on the flop there is nothing interestin in the hand and he should check-fold 1 out 1 times and forget about the whole hand there?

it sucks to get beaten by hand a hand you dominated pre flop. his limping in was kinda terrible he should have raised there and after you're bet he made a wrong call. he got lucky on it to bad for you

I fold more A,5's then I play anymore. I also don't chase when I have A,K and hit nothing on the flop. The only way I would even consider chasing is if I habe a big stack and can buy the next card cheap. As for the Ace rag winning it happens all the time. I mean it's an Ace, lookout that's an allin hand for a lot of donk azzz players.
