I was going to say Arrow knew he had better cards from the other guy limping but that doesnt explain risking his whole stack on rubbish, especially if the guy was trapping you with a pocket pair.

Wud be a very sick hand if u had just flat called his raise and only went all-in after the flop. Like so there's nothing special about this mate... Honestly you played it bad, the other guy also and in the end he turned out to be luckier. Better luck next time shoving all-in pre-flop with a rag kicker, specially when you still had 22 BB in your stack.
yeah but the reason i did that is because he was a big bluffer and went all in 9/10 hand he came at the tables with 200k +- 30 minutes l8ter he had 11 k after this he was all in all the time 10 minute latr he had 40 k etc till this hand he was litterly going with a 44 a four honestly i was firstly going all in just to steal the blinds only few were active looked like an easy steal even with his raise mostly he folds an reraise 8/10 of the time if they called i still had A9 wich was honestly my best hand in a while but in the end the turn and river were bullsh!t
btw that was the brm freeroll with 11 or 12 people left players left

Aww, that sucks Arrow. Nothing's worse then loosing with a dominating hand especially when you've cleared so much of the field, but that's the name of the game. Better luck next time.
Posted by arrow-knee-: yeah on the upsight its my hghest finish in brm freeroll yet xD 11th place 23 cents xD woot the moneys craps but had a good run
The hand you posted might be an indication as to why you didn't get a final table yet, maybe it's a good idea to examine some of your hand histories from when you got into the top 30, to see if there is a consistent pattern of leaks there...
I understand why you might not take the raise in front of you seriously (with the player's history etc...), but both your stacks were large enough to accommodate a 3-bet from you (lets say about 18000).
3-betting light (and A9o is certainly very light for a 3-bet) might get an overly loose aggressive player to back off a bit.
If he had pushed, he is either bluffing or has a hand that beats you (his min raise could also mean AA); either way you would fold. If he calls, you get to see what he does on the turn, before making a decision (you have position on him).
I'm not sure how it would have played out, because the flop is too good to let it go no matter what he does...
Anyway I think a fold preflop here is by far the best move, unless you know he is stealing with a very wide range here.
he was stealing even to the amount of 44 lol i saw multiple bluffs called by him and he won 4/5 of them xD plus as i mentoined i was quite card dead my sstack was 70k but the average was about 100k anyways i do agree with you that a call or maybe even fold was better but that guy wouldve raised all in on the flop no matter what and with 2 pair i wouldve gone anyday
