G'day mate

YEEEEE HAAAA !!! Smile

I just had a GREAT session.
I was looking over the tables at the higher stakes and I noticed a table at the 0.10/0.25 NL level with 4 out of 9 massive fish sitting at the same table.
I took 1/2 my bankroll and decided to take a shot at them.
Well I totally out played the entire table until it finally collapsed and I look at my new total.

My new current bankroll is now: $47.10 USD

You can argue that by jumping up stakes at this time I was breaking management procedures.
You would be right!
However I am very familiar with playing at the stake level, and it is extremely rare to find 4 known fish on the same table. I knew I could out play them.
Imagine my delight when I sat down and discovered the entire table were all fish Big Smile
So I increased my bankroll as much as they would let me before they all fled in perceived terror Smile
I am now dropping back down to the lower 0.01/0.02 NL tables again to keep grinding within proper bankroll management structure

Best wishes to you all

Daaaaaaaaaaamn boy! Happy for you mate just keep to BRM now and you will beat me to £100 easy. Glad one of us has had a good session as I just had a bad one losing £5. Lost three flips when I was ahead PF anf on the flop and also my massive KK raise in EP got cracked as usual by an Ace on the flop.

Luckily I have just won it all back so I am still in the game. Keep it up bud!

Edit I take that bud had my QQ run into AA. Standard.

Edit 2: Made it all back now. Some new guy kept pushing every hand so called with 99 and he flipped over 34 lol.

G'day mate

Nice job amigo. Keep up the good work.
I just finished another successful session.
It started out very bad for me today, I suffered two painful beats first thing this morning and had to step back, take a breath, and ask myself if I was on tilt or not. I decided I was not on tilt because I knew I had played the hands well I just got unlucky. Once I was armed with that knowledge I was able to reload back into the table and through playing solid and good poker I was able to come all the way back from the loses and ever get farther ahead.

My new current bankroll is now : $56.36

well update again after my next session

Get on you have past the halfway point and well ahead of me now. You need to slow down. Tongue

I had another little session on my phone last night and lost a BI to a fish chasing a straight and flush draw when I hit a set of 9's on the flop. Had to push on the turn as two people were chasing and one called and of course hit his magical gutshot on the river. At least it was not a flush for once. Big Smile

Glad you are doing well mate after all those other busto times. Looking forward to your update later, it should be on $70.

I feel like I am going to crack. This game has some hate against me and I just lost two bankrolls. It sets things up again me. Just lost my last BR minus £1.80 when I hit a set of 7's on the flop. Of course someone hit a bigger set. All my QQ/KK I raise and every time aces hit and obviously someones got one. Got JJ twice and of course when I 3 bet someone when in position they other person goes all in so its obviously KK/AA. This ison Blaze after getting owned by fished on low limits all night calling with crap like Q3. I actually feel like crying at how bad RNG and variance is.

G'day mate

Do not feel bad it happens to us all.
I just took a shot at moving up to the 0.10/0.25 NL tables.
I took 3 bad bets and i lost 1.5 buy ins.

My bankroll has now fallen back down too $20.89 USD

I now have no choice but to drop back down to the 0.01/0.02 NL tables.
I am slightly ticket off by the loses which I just took but it happens.
I got unlucky why I was trying to take a shot at moving up the limits.
I however know that whenever I take a shot at moving up stakes, that I will need to get a degree of good luck. This time it was just not there for me.
I was smart enough to not allow myself to go on tilt and stopped while I still have a workable bankroll for the 0.01/0.02 Nl table level.
best wishes mates

At least you have a roll left. I get suckerd by fish all night and tilted to Blaze which I should have not. Lost my BR then another after depositing hitting a set of 7's on the flop and of course the other guy hit a set of k's. Going to have a break to Thursday now and try again. What I have learned is Blaze is bad and I should leave tables filled with fish on low stakes.

Hoping you get back your bankroll mate. GL.

Well better luck next time Ronin

Had to catch up some posts as I did not visit the site this weekend.

But as you have already proven here ... you have to ability to be a winning player as long as you keep up your A game.

Just unlucky that your BR dropped from 56 to 20 $

But I am sure that you can climb that ladder back up

And remember ... keep away from the ZOOM tables

G'day mate

Well I have busted my bankroll because I wanted to play the 0.05/0.10 Nl table and bought in for thr full $10 on two tables. on one table I got it all in with pocket Aces preflop and lost to a call from a guy with pocket Aces when 5 hearts hit the f'in board. and I lost the other when I flopped an Ace high flush and a Russian idiot who had shoved all in 6 times in a row after the flop shoved all in.
I was very happy when hew pulled it on me because I had flopped an Ace high flush but he hit a 1 outer on the river to make a pair on the board with then gave him quad 4's.
My bankroll right now is $0.26 USD.

I am not worried because I will be able to make another deposit in a week.
I got 4700 mob points so I will cash out at 5000 to get the $50 to deposit.
I can also make a $25 deposit today if I want because my friend paid me the $30 which he owned me from 5 months ago this morning Smile
So all is well.
Will update again later.

What have we both learnt? We need to stick to Bankroll management and away from higher stakes and Zoom otherwise we will go busto.

Ul on the pocket aces though.

When you are right you are right Smile
The zoom tables are a kiss of death to any bankroll.
I broke the rules of my bankroll and as a result of some bad luck I went busto.
if I had been playing within my roll guide lines I would still be in the game right now and grinding upward. I got impatient and tried to take a short cut and now i must pay for it.
It is going to be ok thought.

That is exactly how I lost mine. I should have just left when I was a few BI's down and tried another day instead of jumping up two stakes hoping to win it back fast. We should learn from this but we always seem to revert. Are you depositing more today mate?

great plan to bad when i make a plan i never stick to my plan and always start betting way more than is good for me

Exactly. I think we all need a set of rules and we need to follow them otherwise we will be going busto and re-depositing all the time.

I think if you either lose two or three bI's on a table you should just leave, or if your just not winning leave it have a break and try again later on. My problem is losing a few BI's, getting pissed off then spewing chips on the same table or on a higher stake.

G'day mate

Well I honestly have not decided yet.
I have 4750 mob points so in just a few days I will be able to cash out $50 which can be used to refund my poker account. I do have the money to do a small buy in right now because a friend paid me $30 which he owed me from 5 months ago.
I was really surprised when he paid me back the money because honestly I had wrote it off long ago.
I sm thinking of grinding a few freerolls and rebuilding a bankroll that way.
I know I am good enough to do it.

Then do that and keep your cash out money and returned money for another day. All you need to do is win enough from a freeroll for a few BI's and you should be sweet.

I get paid on Thurs so I will deposit my spare £7 and see if I can grind that this time following new rules if I can. Big Smile

GL in your freeroll hunt. It's something I could not do as its a waste of time as you will always get fecked over by someone or something. That is why I rarely play the BRM freerolls anymore. I spend hours playing awesome and have a decent chip stack and you always get some d**k who ruins it by calling with rubbish hands and spiking big. The sites do it on purpose when your facing a bigger stack.

This is one funny "blog" either u are really unlucky with all the bad beats you are telling or you are using maybe a little bit too much the words bad beats... For me bad beat dosn't mean i lose a flip or even i lose a 70/30.. But maybe thats just me!

Perhaps you are right, I do not know.
I acknowledge your right to have a different opinion then mine.
I am however glad that this blog is entertaining you. Smile

My current bankroll is now $25.89 USD.

I did a reload of $25 Cnd which converted to $23.49 USD
I then played a very small grind session and made a small $2.40 USD profit.
It is onward and upward from here Smile
best wishes to you

Profit is profit my friend. This time just stay on the lowest stakes and dont jump up until you are rolled for it.

And it's his blog he can write what he wants. Tongue
