I hope you are preparing mentally for your comeback to grinding Ronin my friend. Hopefully you have been swatting up on your leaks and reading some material just so you get a little edge for this year. Looking forward to your updates.

Yes I have been preparing myself to begin a new year of poker grinding. Took a little time off to get my head together and examine my game for leaks. I am preparing for a 60 day successful staking run. Plan to make the most of my time once I begin the new poker season. be cool

Well I have money in my Neteller account and I also have one of there Net+ Virtual Mastercards. It will not allow me to use my Neteller funds until I completely validate my account so they have forced me to send them copies of my personal Id paperwork in order to get my own money from them. In essence I have to give them the ability to steal my identity just to use their services. In Canada it is against the law for businesses to request you provide them with these documents but online the laws are the old wild west BS crap shot. I ask you what are we supposed to do when they can just hold our money hostage for as long as they want to make us willingly comply with their unfair and possibly harmful request.

For me it sounds right that they check who you really are, that would be real BS if they wont check.. Everybody could do anything and make 100 accounts different? 1 example : money laundring.. U get lot of money from other fake accounts to your fake account and then u withdraw with no problem? And nobody knows who you are

This is why I refused to play at certain Poker sites that need I.D and documents because of all the hassle it brings. I have done it once for betting and it went smoothly and I managed to withdraw free money.
Hopefully you have some money to start grinding in the meantime but can't you just photocopy or take a picture of said documents and I.D and email it to them? It worked for me before, unless they want the original documents and I.D...

I did send then a copy of my passport as an emailed file attachment. I am not waiting for them to approve that document to release my money. The true issue for me would be if they decided they wanted even my document like valid copies of my drivers license and such as I can no longer drive since my accident I did not renew the old licence i had so I no longer have a valid drivers licence to send them. I can only hope that the passport information will be enough or I will not be able to get my money from them. I just think that is wrong and unfair. be cool

Actually you are wrong, they want alot more documentation. They want a copy of a valid passport, drivers licence, cancelled bank check, & it all must be sent to them signed by an official notory, or professional from a specific list. Basically if I was to give them everything they asked for they could steal every aspect of my identity. What a bunch of BS. I am beyond pissed off right now

No way, are u kidding? Cant believe that, nobody has ever asked me anything more then one copy passport or driving licence. And when I wanted to make bigger cash outs they wanted a proof that I live where I say I live.. Maybe because you are from canada thats the only thing that would make sense (even that dont make sense)

G'day mate The following is a copy/paste of the letter they sent to me. I am sure you can understand why it has upset me so much. I have already sent them a copy of my passport. I have no drivers licence because In 2005 I was struck by a drunk driver leaving me disabled and so I no longer drive a vehicle as I must often travel with the assistance of a wheel chair. Made no sense to me to renew a drivers licence which I did not think I was going to require at all in the new future as I really did not have the money to do so at the time. Well on to the Neteller response to me.

The new law went through and it will not even allow the use to deposit directly to or from online gambling sites anymore, that what got me started down this path. Another mobster told me to use the Net+ virtual Mastercard to bypass the BS but it now requires me to validate my account first.

hey Ronin i suggest taking jessthehuman's path and send them one and only "document"- photo of you salami (of course signed by official notary). just in respect of your wonderful country you should consider dipping your salami in maple syrup before taking the shot

Well amigo I do not think that would help the situation any to be honest. I am very frustrated by the entire BS mess. Truly I am amazed at how this has all been playing out. Never knew my own government was screwing over the Canadian poker community so completely. My God I had though my government was better then the US but it seems they are just alot better at keeping things covert while they screw us with our pants on. be cool
