G'day mate
What a day I have had. Played 3 different sessions and am down $0.90 US I have lost 12 all in showdowns in a row. Got the money in good in each case. Unreal the way things have gone. Still however there is a silver lining, Made a lot of Vpp's today and now I am 82 away from clearing another VIPbonus. I have decided to take a break and go back at it tomorrow. be cool

so upper levels are easier than lower ones

No magatt966 I do not use a hud. I was going to give the poker tracker 4 30 trial a go but could not get it to work with the new version of postgresql. It was just one problem after another. Ticked me off so much I just gave up on it. Will rely on my own skills to play, be cool

Well I could not sleep last night and so I played some more poker and lost 2 more all ins. I went back to bed. Today my bankroll was down to just $5 US. I made a decision that I was NOT going to lose my last $5. Started playing one just 1 table and concentrated on everything did all my math calculations twice and even stopped going all in until I was absolutely positive I had the nuts. Been a very long tiring day, but a successful one.
Current Bankroll is now $22.17 US and I am only 58 Vpp's away from earning another VIPbonus.

if you kept playing instead of writing this letter maybe you already reached the 25k. one hell of a long letter but you are 100 right about how to manage your bankroll. good luck and someday maybe we will meet in vegas

have not been grinding since friday. i am sick. only played a couple freerolls yesterday and a 180 man SnG cashed in the 180 man. have not played anything today. Just feel real bad and know at best i would be playing a "C" level game. Figure it is best to wait till I feel much better. be cool mates

Well I think it is just the flu or something. It seems everyone I know is sick with the same basic symptoms. I played 2 SnG games yesterday a $3.50 fifty/50 and a $0.25 45 man and did not make the money in either. I was actually glad when I got taken out of the 45 man cause it meant I could go back to bed. Feeling slightly better today but my head hurts and my sinuses feel like rocks. Might try a couple small games today but do not know yet. might just go back to bed. best of luck to you all ifyou play poker today be cool

It looks like you are getting away from your goal. You will need lots of luck to reach it anyways. But even reaching 1k it will be a success for me. SO keep grinding there and good luck.

my advice ... only play freerolls or some other free online games
as long as your not 100 % healthy you will not play your best game ... so you d better only play freerolls

Well as many of you know Ihave been very sick for the last two weeks with a combination of flu like symptoms. Was unable to play much poker to speak of really. Well I got it into my head yesterday to move up a couple levels to do a quick hit and run in order to build up my bankroll again very fast. Was on a table with a bunch of real idiot calling stations. so I ended up getting a good hand and yep they was all coming along to the river like they always did. I shoved all in on the turn with my set Ace on a rainbow board and two of them folded but 1 called and BAM he hit a literal 1 card cooler on the river and now my entire bankroll is busto.
Not going to make a new deposit right now even though I could easily do so. Going to grind some freerolls and play some PSO until the end of the month when I will get my influx of free cash added to my account when I will once again start using proper bankroll management and begin all over. Ironicly I am only 2 Vpp's away from clearing my next level of VIPbonus. Giving up on clearing my Gold star again this month. Have already cleared the required amount to maintain my Silver star. Should have no problem making some starting cash before the end of the month.

Well I played in the $5000 VIPfreeroll on PStars on Saturday and I finished in the money for $0.70 USD. Well I must be honest we I got taken out I was beyond ticked off I got the money in good and lost to a one outer on the river. Only one card in the deck could make me lose and he gets it on the river. Yea right PStars who you kidding. Oh well I got $0.70 and can play several $0.10 tournaments to build the bankroll even farther. Only need 2 Vpp's to clear my next VIPbonus so that will happen soon

great to hear your roll started to inflate bit by bit- you're on the right direction pretty sure you have enough skill to rebuild it to no less than $25K...ok ok so i'm maybe too optimistic- $24K will do as well. good luck crushing the fishes will be following your road to glory

Thank you amigo for your kind words of encouragement. Truly appreciate the support my friends here on this forum provide. My friends think I should just do a rebuy into my poker account but I told them that I will not do that unless I still have not built a bankroll to work with by the middle of next month. I know I can rebuild it from $0 just by grinding away at the freerolls and also by playing the PSO tournaments and scoring within the top 2000 to win cash at the 1st of the month. No worries there at all. be cool
