I have taken the decision to have a month off from playing cash poker(Freerolls only). I think a rest would do me good and I need to revise on how I play and everything because I make a good bankroll then lose it through my own stupid actions and other stuff. This can only be a good decision on my behalf.
I need a new approach to playing and grinding and it's best of I read up more and revise on things as I stopped doing it a while back. I probably think I am a great player when I am not so going back to basics and learning new things will be a good thing for me.

Indeed. I have done well in the last few freerolls so taking them on as I did for those should wield a return hopefully. If not, the practice and having fun is still there.

It would be a good idea so you won't be so rusty once you start grinding again. It has been nice having a rest and not having to log on and grind. I only need 600 more mob points until I reach 5000 so I think I will just used all of that as a start up bankroll.

------------ Ladbrokes special Social Sunday freeroll on tonight. Never made the money in this weekly one yet but today could change. Even if I make the money I won't grind the winnings as still on a cash break so I will taking this freeroll as practice and fun. Top 150 paid so should be able to reach that mark.
------------ Just finished that freeroll and it's the third successful one in a row for me as I reach the money a third time in a row, although this time it was not that much, but still something free. I finished 128th.
Had QQ and 16kleft(6000k blinds) so obviously pushed all in. Had two calls from the big stacks naturally hoping for an easy pot with rubbish cards. One called with Q5 and another A9. Bit obvious how the one turned out as a lucky big stack ace comes out as usual. Second loss in that freeroll with the first being with AA so my premium pocket bad streak continues.
Still regardless I am starting to do well in freerolls now which is a nice confidence boost but if that QQ stood up for once against a large stack I could have maybe one more.

Funnily enough that's what basically what happened with my AA loss. I went all in after some big betting before me and three people called. Hands called were this:
Me: AA Player 2: QQ Player 3: AQs Player 4: 78
I saw those and thought player 4 might sneak a win since us other three would only have like one out PF each. Flop brings down two suited to give player three a draw. As soon as I saw that I knew I had lost. Turn brought down another flush card as expected. Player 4 with his stupid call did not even get a pair. Worst hand PF in a multi-all in wins once again, but I had triple the chips over the rest so it was not really a massive loss for me.
------------ Logged on to Ladbrokes to see if there was any freerolls on and I was confronted with a message giving me 47p for free for some reason. It was weird but Ladbrokes also gave me a $400 which lasts until the second of Febuary so that's an incentive to play a lot. Releases $5 a time by earning points. Not going to rush anything with my small BR from last nights freeroll but releasing a few of those $5 would be nice.
There is a special $7500 MTT/freeroll thing on tonight that costs 350 LB Points to register for. I currently have 290. I did have 1100LP's but used them for rebuys in those winning freerolls I played. It starts in 3 hours and only 147 people registered so far. Could be worth trying if I can make 60LP's by then.

Something weird is going on. I just received another message giving me a £6 bonus. No clue where this has come from unless it was last months playing. Not complaining especially as I have a £9.57 bankroll now, all from scratch. Just wish I kept that £15 win now.

Well the big stacks is always the problem when you are in the same table with them Besides the fact they are bullying the table with their betting, they tend to call most of the all in with crap hands. And the thing is they have such a stack cause most of the times they get lucky. So every time i am all in with mediocre hand, i am just wishing for all the rest to call besides them. When they do, before the cards are even out, im like ok, next tournament, lol. But from time to time i get lucky against them, since they also tend to eliminate, all others from the hand,with their raise, thus giving me more chances in heads up.

All of the time it seems against me, but it happens so there is nothing you can do.
Just folded KK in a cash game after 3 betting someone who bet out x5 before. 4 bet me triple what I bet so I knew he had AA. Usually I would call or push all in but it obvious what he had due to the nature of the 4 bet plus I always come against AA when I have KK. Also, I was OOP so was not going to take th chance. +EV for the fold though.
Loving my QQ cracked by a set of 2's. doing well tonight at minimizing losses when it seems I am ahead. Makes a change from spewing all of my moneyz.
What a night. Been playing well but sucker punches rob my bankroll as usual. Premium pockets pairs starting to be my worse hands now. People either fold or crack them. Just had an all in my KK vs AKs. Nice straight on the turn as usual.
Variance is a right killer towards me lately. I don't know what to think of it. £8 down 80p left.
------------ Why does this game always f**k you over? You play as well as can be and it has to sort other people out with luck and set ups. I am starting to learn towards the rigged way now because some of the losses I am having is so stupid, and it's all the same things.
Just had my KK cracked once again by a smaller pocket pair. Keeps calling me down on a two over card board to himself and MAGICALLY hits a 6 for a set of sixes on the turn. This is starting to turn into deja'vu now and it's pathetic. I find it funny how I never hit sets with lower pocket pairs either.
Can someone tell me if this is a constant downswing for such things or is it just f**ked up?

------------ Never mind. It's variance and valuable learning experience. Every win and loss adds to the experience.
The real grind starts soon and best done with a big starting bankroll. I am like 20 mob points off from reaching 5000 thanks to opening a door and winning 500 points so I can use that and stay with proper BRM and on those slow and boring $0.01/0.02 tables which is half the normal £ BI for that stake.

I got a spare £5 which I will deposit tonight and grind the smallest tables so I can get the points going, then once I got 20 more mob points I can cash out and Ladbrokes uses skrill so I will deposit it all on there and do it properly this time. Hopefully I can get a good wedge of the bonus cleared as every little helps.

Good news man it has been ages since you played some poker. How did your first session back go?
Managed a £1.50 profit session last night. Not much but that brings my BR up to £11.50 and I also made a good 30LP's, which means I need 80 more LP's to release the first $5.
I also cashed out my first 5000 Mob points last night so I can add that towards my bankroll if I need it by then.
Edit: Make that £14.20 bankroll now. Had a good 3 minute session.
Not liking the fact ladbrokes uses dollars for their bonus's and stuff considering they are an English company. Save them money I guess seeing as the pound is worth more than the dollar.

Everything is fine so far mate. Made a measly £2 profit last night for two hours of micro grinding but it is still money earned. Sitting on a modest £17 BR so it is slowly going up.
Did you start grinding again or is your money still locked in limbo?
------------ Just had a great session. Everything fell into place and my better hands kept holding up. I even finally had AA when someone had KK on my final hand which I would have made at least £10 more if I pushed all in on the river but the streets were a bit dodgy for me. Cleared my first $5 bonus too.
Current Bankroll: £36
------------ Today has been another good day so far and I have yet to play any poker. Started it buy winning 200 mob points from the calendar then had a email saying my 5000 mob points were cashed out and into my Skrill account. $50 meant it would be £30 since I use pounds and £29.70 came in. Skrill takes off a little for withdrawals so £26 is the final amount that will be coming to my bank. A modest winnings from doing nothing. I also just cracked the safe for the first time to win a cool $20, so thank you Bankrollmob for your Xmas and new years presents I have received since the start of December.
I am also going to withdraw £14 out of my bankroll. £10 for the deposit I made of the same amount so then anything else now will be profit or working to win back the losses I have had since Ladbrokes updated. The £4 is to even out the Skrill money.
Things going well in the world of poker for me this week so I hope it continues. I will be playing my first session of the day soon so I hope my streak from last night still continues.
------------ Is there any truth to the myth that when you withdraw the poker site turns on the doom switch? Because as soon as I withdrew I have been sucked out on a lot. Worst being flopping a set of 2's and some guy with KK goes all in so I call obviously. Hits a K on the turn. QQ vs AK, rivers an A. Standard stuff like that when I am ahead until the all in.
